I have a silly question. In modern times such as now,do UK railway company's still name their locomotives ? Noticed it on this little devil depicted in your video. I remember being a kid and reading about UK locomotives having names. Forty something years later, I ask someone who might know. Great video by the way. Dragon
These are great videos - my only gripe - they are far too short! Videos of this type show the real 'nitty gritty' of what railways are about, and they are educational and (to my mind) very entertaining. I'm sure this type of video would encourage many who think as I do, to join as volunteers and be a positive addition to railways everywhere.
I was laid not far from here during a school trip when i was just 16 . I have been re-laid several times during my late 20's at a hotel in Beddgelert .
