Description

Premier Cherdenko`s Time travel plan has succeeded, but instead of celebrating victory over one enemy, he was shocked when learned about a new far more dangerous adversary - Japanese Empire. Across the length and breadth of the Motherland, Imperial forces rampaged almost unopposed. On the way of the Empire's war machine was Leningrad, the symbol of the October revolution 1917. Premier ordered immediate defense of the city. But general Krukov is not so enthusiastic.

There had to be a war between Japan and the US because in the first mission in the Soviet Campaign in Red Alert 2 you take the Iwo Jima memorial. Remember Red Alert was only between the Europeans and the Soviets. America wasnt involved.

here is my review of the game: because of the new focus on naval gameplay, this game has some good sides and bad sides to it, the good thing is, is that you have more ways to attack your enemy, but this can also mean the matches take FOREVER especailly in the campaign because their are enemy bases everywhere, besides it gets highly repetitive in a way, in the campaign because its an endless cycle of destroy this base, destroy that base, well done commander.. blah blah blah

not like the first 2 where the missions take you to places all over the globe and you have missions where you only use tanya for one or 2missions alone, by the way ill give you a heads up in case ur dissappointed when u find this out, tanya isnt half as useful in this game as she is in the first 2, her range is the same IF not worse than an imperial basic soldier or a conscript, which means she is highly vulnerable to teams of infantry firing or ambushing her.

this game tries its best to be balanced but thats where the fun dies out, it takes so damn long to beat any enemy because u need a combined arms force and usually your force meets with the enemy force u wipe each other out, so its like u got nowhere, i think this gets frustrating, cuz the first 2 were much more fast paced than this one, plus the units in this one look horrible, like toys, sure the water looks great but for what? besdies this game is way too short, only 8 missions per faction.

in short red alert 3 in my opinion fails to match the epic scale of its predecessors, but if u want to buy it go ahead, im just saying its not what u think its like.. by the way apocalypse tanks dont have anti air anymore..(omg stupid) instead they have more ground attacks. there are more units but a bit too many in my opinion,this game seemed to be focused on advertising as oppose to the actual game development, the cutscenes are great, but the missions get boring fast, its overpriced!! as well
