I'm not sure have seen gasifying, only burning logs like a standard rocket. Maybe it's only a "zoom" problem. Anyway, I would be glad to see future tests! Keep on!
what i did was load it like a standard wood gas single batch stove. Because of the large feed port, this thing is a heavy breather, and takes off in wood gas mode right off the bat. After that, depending on how attentive you are, you can load the feed port for max heat (to include secondarey wood gas burn), or simmer as desired. In the end, the key, my friend, is flexibility. Go make one yourself and experiment. Share the knowledge gained. Cheers
Very nice concept - thanks for sharing. ANything that combines the benefits of Rocket with woodgas is great. How does it perform with a pot on it? Some passice woodgas stoves tend to get sooty then... Would also be interesting to compare its performance against a) identical design just rocket (i.e. no double wall) and b) identical woodgas (i.e. with no horiz inlet for fuel) to quantify the actual benefit of combining. Thanks!

Glad it works well. Time for a base, and see how long it takes to boil some water.
