@VeryCupboardy Yeah, this is quite an old video now, if you check the rest of our channel out you'll see that you can set the buttons up to do any combination of key press, the iPod/iPhone skin doesn't have enough buttons for all 30 slots (they would be to small to be useful) but the buttons that are there can be setup for anything you choose.

Really love this app idea tho, have been looking for an app like this for ages now. I've messed with the lite version, only thing stopping me from buying the full version is there just isn't enough skins for different games, would be great if i could import my own pix and assign them as buttons tho, letting us make our own skins for what ever games we, if thats possible??

@GreenGold33 Depends on your perspective! One one viewpoint it's a neat Roleplay tool, particularly if you're a Star Trek Fan, really 'feels' the part. On another it can really speed up your reaction times in PVP when you're used to it.

The app was built to prevent my wife (with arthritis) from having to stretch fingers all over the keyboard (Ctrl + 9 being particularly hard for her) and this has reduced her pain. Ultimately - it can do a lot.

@ClarkeApps I have rheumatoid arthritis, and it does affect my hands. I may not own an iPad, but I can still appreciate what you've done with this application on principal. Thank you for taking the time, and I hope you continue to develop it. Curious though, is there any way this application could ever work with an Android-based product? I understand that there can be various hassles and hurdles. My only iProduct at this time is a rather "old" nano iPod. ;)

@spade0014 Sadly it won't work on Android - we've little intention of transferring it to Android due to the somewhat fragmented device setup. Sorry. Glad you appreciate the concept though :)

I have the free version for the Iphone right now, TONS of fun if a bit awkward on it's own. Even though I still have to use the keyboard and mouse 'cause I don't have full version or Ipad, it's really fun as a mini-consol

Biggest thing I wish you could do is not just change keybinds ingame but change what the buttons bind to vs keyboard, like I wanted to use the 4 direction keys to direct shields but I can't without setting my movement keys to that as well. Is that going to be in an update?

I had only used the free version then college kinda left me without much time, but having come back and updated I was impressed enough to invest in the full version without a second thought. I installed the App on my Ipad and have Windows 7. I disabled my firewall completely but I still get the message : "Peer disconnected " when trying to connect

Usually though this is Windows trying to block the app, might pay to redownload the server and try that again, making sure not to let Windows block it at all - Windows has a tendancy to try and block downloaded apps.

@weskitt Absoloutely. You can use the iPad, the iPhone or iPod touch independent of each other, or use an iPad with the iPhone or iPod - it's entirely up to you, we're hoping to update the video soon to demonstrate this a bit more clearly but yes you can do what you're asking.

Just wanted to pop in and say we now have a universal update! You can load the app on to your iPhone and iPod and use it in conjunction with the iPad (or by itself!)

That will depend massively on your firewall. Generally a quick google of your firewall provider (norton, mcafee, windows, or even your router) will usually provide good results on this.

Sounds like a firewall issue. Make sure port 5563 is forwarded to both devices and that you have one copy of the server running only.

@OmegaPrime011 Not yet. The issue with this is fairly simple in so much as we have no experience programming for Android devices, and more so don't have one to test with. It's not that it'll never happen, it's just not likely to be in the next six months, of course if anyone were to donate us an Android Tablet to work on...lol
