Birdo still gives me nightmares to this day. Just look at her in the All-Stars intro. She's just standing in the back of the crowd where no can see her while plotting her evil plans. Also, in the game, she would just be sitting at the end of the room in every level waiting to kill you while gazing at you with those big creepy eyes and shooting her own offspring at you! And to top it all off, she's a transvestite! How much scarier can a video game character get?!
