  • God Bless the Men and Women that serve our great Nation

  • Faith will always exist. Peace is extremely hard to have and War is easy to have

  • So long as religion exist, peace will not exist.

  • Peace is coming and one day freedom of speech will dominate the world!!!

  • This is just stupid. For one thing the motivation for just about every other war in the past 1200 years is Jesus. Why is there a spartan? Sparta had long since collapse by the time Jesus supposely came around.

  • And he will judge among the nations, and he shall rebuke many peoples. And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation and neither shall they learn war anymore...

  • has website and fb page

  • How to buy ?

  • @juannnnnnn 106 Josephus, (an ancient historian,) described Jesus of Nazareth as "...having sandy colored hair and blue eyes..." I have known many light haired, blue eyed Jews. Perhaps you ought to do some research before you expose how little you know....

  • @1stBryll Who cares. I could care less if he were black, yellow, white, olive. WHO CARES! As long that you believe in him WHO CARES! I'm white, if I went into a "black" church with a BLACK JESUS I would feel just as much at peace if I were at a "white" church.

  • @1stBryll Can you refer me where he wrote that? Josephus never wrote such thing. Maybe you are refering to"The Archko Volume". Anyhow, that quote form Josephus have long been identified as a revisionism and a forgery by almost all historians. And the Archko volume has no credibility.

  • @1stBryll "Both his nature and his form were human: for he was a man of simple appearance, mature age, short growth, three cubits tall [about 4 and a half feet, based on the Jewish cubit], [...] eyebrows meeting above the nose so that the spectators could take fright, with a long face, a long nose, an undeveloped beard, dark skin, and hunchbacked." (The Messiah Jesus and John the Baptist According to Flavius Josephus, Robert Eisler, Ph.D.; The Dial Press, New York; pp. 425-429)

  • Keep on doing it. May god bless you. A brother from malaysia. Amen

  • This is beautiful

  • for all you yam sacks who disliked this....you have some serious issues...I hope you get the help you need. Beautiful painting! ;.;

  • yeah angel saves them thats awsome

  • GAY JESUS

  • @youtubiwankenobi How can you prove Jesus is gay? Thats whats wrong with our world people make stupid comments like you just did.

  • I myself a Soldier in the Army, and a Christian. Cried and wept as I remembered afghanistan this last year. Truly Peace coming, Its called JESUS> AMEN

  • Yes, peace is coming.

Jon McNaughton's work seems inspired by God.

God speaks through many books, paintings, songs, and stories. God seems to be speaking through Jon McNaughton.

  • wow thats amazing

  • Interesting idea which is very well painted.

  • HAHAHAHA, thats´s funny, Jesus wearing that simbol in his cheast, the Holy Tree of Minas Tirith, ahahahah, the same simbolic tree than Aragorn wear in the final battle for the Ring quest, c´mon, Mc Naughton, a little bit of imagination, Jesus-Aragorn os not a good comparison...now, Jesus is a prince of peace, no soldier have a clean soul, the last bastards who will be in front of God will be the soldiers, murderers without brain, specially those than kill inocents to stole their natural resources

  • @carloko08 ......you are very ignorant.....please think before you make moronic posts like that...wow...

  • Really it is a masterpiece like of da vinci. I love this painting. No words can to describe about this painting. Really Jon McNaughton is a genius.

  • its beautiful and so thoughtful. =)

  • Outstanding! You serve our Lord very well.

    And to your detractors:

I grew up with those images handed down from ages past that changed Jesus' look. But when I saw Jesus in this painting, I did not think of that, rather I thought he looked like Israeli POW Eldad Regev with long hair.

Also, religion is a personal experience which grows proportionally to the growing quest for final values. But nobility itself is always an unconscious growth and Sons of God know it when we see it.

    Swiss Monk

  • Caption: soldiers lamenting, "but, but - our leaders told us you were on our side, you mean our leaders were lying to us?"

  • Very beautiful, left me in aw and wonder tears flow, and in the heat of battle to all soldiers, marines, airmen, sailors, yes peace is coming, hang tough, stay frosty, keep up the good work

  • incredible!

  • very nice and beautiful video,it brings tears to your eyes.much felt in the heart

  • I like how Jesus is wearing the Tree of Gondor.

  • jon, your work is so beautiful. A gift god gave you and you use it so well! The story of the soldier in battle is so beautiful . Typical of our God!

  • The wind died down and everything became perfectly calm & still. If the wind & sea obey the Lord, then why don't we? As we look around the world, we see violence ruling our hearts. Christ said, "Peace I leave with you." And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. ~Colossians 3:15. Jon, this is my favorite video as it portrays the very essence of Christ's peace left with us. My real name is Sandy Riffle filled with bubbles of grace.

  • @bubblesofgrace He will come to us soon! Can't wait!

  • @carioca1959 me too, He will come soon!

  • Great painting Jon. It will be a wonderful day when there are no wars.

  • If Jesus existed he would not have been a blond hair, blue-eyed white man. He would have been a dark skinned, dark haired, middle eastern man. Also, how ironic that many of these men would have been fighting in religious wars. And even more ridiculous is that almost all of them would have come from christian countries. isn't religion suppose to deter people from going to war?

  • @juannnnnnn106 IDIOT

  • @juannnnnnn106 No, religion is suppose to deter people from ignoring the good and just decisions and turning to the bad. Sometimes war is necessary. It's not something people want to do, but it is something people need to do from time to time. To protect freedom and peace, not just on our own soil for our own sake, but on others as well, for their sake.

  • @shrivak looooool

  • @shrivak exactly, religion is useless; so why worship the invisible guy in the sky if he cant do anything?

  • @juannnnnnn106 One: how does what I said make you think I think religion is useless?

Two: Who told you that he's ONLY in the sky?

  • @juannnnnnn106 -- your ignorant. ( point blank) read a book! jez, estupiddddo

  • @raquelreyes2011 what did i say that wasn't true? Jesus was a middle eastern man. 3/4 of these soldiers, maybe more, are from christian countries. If YOU read about history YOU would understand that Christians have been the most violent people on earth, by far. not necessarily in the name of god, but they were Christians nonetheless. I don't mean to pick only on Christians, Islam and the other religions here aren't any better, but this is obviously a christian painting.

  • @juannnnnnn106 My friend, as a Christian I am in a relationship with the Most High as you know. It is not a religion-giving penance to an idol or idea. I communicate to my King and my God. My spirit prays every second and I try to please my King and take up His will. WE CANNOT EVEN COMPREHEND THE IMAGE OF GOD AND YET WE DRAW CONCULSIONS ON HIM AND WHAT DOES AND DOESNT EXIST?!

  • @juannnnnnn106 I once heard a wise man say, "on earth, we humans are in a fish bowl inside a room thats doors and windows are closed. How then can we draw conculsions on what is outside of the room that we cannot see?"

  • @juannnnnnn106 We Christians, who take the Word of God into practice and follow His will, have felt the power of God. Its so powerful we call it LOVE. What your telling a Christian when you say God doesnt exist is that Love doesnt exist. Thats like somebody saying to you that you dont truley love your father, brother, or wife because they dont see it. You see how foolish that sounds. "'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving." Mt. 13:14

  • Christians that take up the will of Christ are the ones who lay their life down for God-giving everything in their life to Him. What i mean by this is that they love others more than themselves and follow EVERYTHING their Father has commanded. Yes Christians fail, but its by His forgiveness that we get back on our feet. What i like to call a Christian is He who follows the gospel. not the lukewarm Christians that fancy themselves in their riches, but those who serve others in the name of Christ.

  • @juannnnnnn106 The question is not IF Jesus existed, he did. Roman's & Jewish priests & contemporary historians ALL documented his existance, trial & execution. The question YOU have left, is he the Son of God, the Messiah. Only you can answer that, for you, as each of us must. Don't be caught up on Christ's physical appearance, what he said, did & who he really was is all that matters. He answered that himself, when asked he answered w/ the shortest & sweetest answer the world has heard, I AM !

  • @juannnnnnn106 I AGREE that I thought religion was meant to bring people together, but people just take it to be yet another club or organization and not what it really is...or is intended to be... On that note, might I add that some people believed that The Saviour would come wearing a crown amid the trumpeting of angels, but he didn't... so I would not say he was blond OR dark-haired... Noone really knows and does it really matter? It's THE HEART of a person that counts... RIGHT ? ; )

  • @juannnnnnn106 i dont belive in religion i belive in faith in the lord thats it, i do belive religions are the couse of many wars

  • @juannnnnnn106 Christianity is a war my friend, everyday we battle satan in our daily lives with Faith and God. All of God's people will make a final stand against satan and all of his forces some day, and Christ will be the one who leads us to victory.

  • @juannnnnnn106 Religion isnt the key.....Many things are done in the name of "religion".

And God had enemies as far back as The Old Testament.... and King Saul, David & Solomon.... fought them. We know Jesus would not have been blonde haired & blue eyed.... that is an artists perceptions. The Bible says, He was a normal man, and you could pass Him in a crowd, and not notice. I am sure, it happens all the time, we have to look for Him.

  • @juannnnnnn106 Jesus does not look particularly blonde in the painting, and as far as I can tell his eye color is not discernible; however, that is quite beside the point, as the Jesus figure in the painting is a symbolic representation, not a literal one. The painter has mentioned this on his web site. As for the irony, Jesus did not come to bring peace on earth, the key words there being "on earth."

  • I would not wipe my ass with this rubbish.

Jon, Jesus called and he said you're an ideological asshole. And Jesus hates you.

  • For the first time their backwardness will pay; for the first time they will be the winners and the winners will be the losers. But that too is a far, far-away, remote possibility because a Third World War will trigger so much fire around the earth that there seems to be no possibility that anybody can survive. Not only human beings -- trees, birds, animals, all will be gone. Osho

  • It left me speechless when I had seen this. It is a dream of mine to see this day.

  • Your work inspires me! Surely your reward is in his house waiting.

I cannot tell you how it raised my spirit. May HE come quickly!

  • wow your videos and art is so powerful!... amazing

  • well , heck , like someone said ," Hey don't take it personal , war is just business " . Get on the gravy train or get under it .

  • In these "troubled" times, I'd rather LIVE on my feet then serve and die on my knees.

QUESTION: Does 'and the meek shall inherit the earth' mean ANYTHING???

  • This is the truest answer for peace, without Christ war will continue to the end of time.

Some wars are necessary, when tyrants posses power, they always use that power to enslave and subjugate the masses, some wars are needed to keep men free.

But on the day Christ returns, and the final judgment is made, there will never be a need for war ever again, because no tyrant will ever have power again, tyranny will utterly cease, forever.....

  • Some people are disgusting.those people will b begging for mercy, but will find,by then,it will b 2 late. It must suck 2 b you now and it will "then" too!!!

  • This is beautiful...........I"m an American;I believe in God and this Country. I've been silent for too long. Today our chaplains who are with our soldiers;in combat; can not referr to God or the Lord in any way, shape or form................thanks to the American Civil Liberties Union. I think it would be a great idea if we all sent the "A>C>L>U> a letter stating our upmost contempt for this. I'm one American that says the ____ with them.

  • What a beatuful painting. As a Navy wife and a future Air Force SF, I'd love to have this picture somewhere in my home. <3

  • to mpalme44....shame on you! May you receive exactly what you wished on Jesus!

  • Why does it annoy you atheists that people choose to have faith? You think life ends at death, yet you still squander your precious few moments of existence on being angry that someone you dont even know believes something you dont. WOW! Whos really the idiot huh?

  • @caseyangus I agree. What does it matter to them that we have faith.

  • @caseyangus Atheists are annoyed at the hypocrisy of religion as an institution; not what people personally believe.

  • @actingislying everyone is a hypocrite no one is perfect that includes athiest

  • Such talent wasted on fairy tales :(

  • When i was an athiest i was full of hate and anger like some commenters here. That is why some comments are hatefull and angry. If there is no God, then why are you so angry? Just move on to other youtube content. If there is a God, then -- maybe it would be wise to hold your hatefull comments. God has blessed Mr McNaughton with a wonderfull skill. Thankyou Mr McNaughton!!!!

  • Wow... to all my military followers on twitter, check this one out.

  • First piece of advice, cut your fingernails. Men with long fingernails are just disgusting. That said, Jesus sure would have loved to have his image juxtaposed with men who chose as a profession, killing their fellow man.... Charming.

Let me tell you, if you think god saved your life in the course of you killing other people, you are a fucking idiot.

  • I'm not a religious person, but I am amazed by your art and your faith. No matter what people say, keep your work going! It's beautiful!

  • @iamapaininthebut You don't have to be religious my friend. Just understand that God being Just, paid the price of our unrighteousness... No man could, so He paid for mankind's sin to satisfy His justice, proving His fathomless love for us.. Christ paid for 'our' sin. Understanding we are lost is wisdom in fear of Righteous God. All we have to do is ask, and forgiveness is given by grace, unearned, freely given.. By faith.. Jon's paintings show this love. Nothing to lose, all to gain.

  • im not one for art by any means but this, this is amazing...

  • I want to thank all those involved on making this happen and a special thanks to YOUTUBE for giving individuals the information and resources to explore and develop themselves in accordance with their own values and beliefs, respecting the uniqueness and importance of each person's journey.

For provide a vehicle for authors, professionals and business people to connect with individuals who have an interest in their ideas, products and services,

  • @challenge405 Yes, thank you YouTube, I had no idea there were such fucking idiots out there like this half baked hack McNaughton. And thank you YouTube for providing a forum where I may heap abuse on the idiots that call this trash art. Thank you!

  • What you do is give great hope or christians. Im an artist by trade too. These paintings are intriguing and great at the least. Much respect. But God is God. The son of God is a where yer faith lies. I wish you the best. God Bless.

  • God Bless America. God is God and is each an evry individuals heart from all ethnic individuals that came to settle and steal this country from humans that already had a God. God is hope no matter what you make him as. Jesus is a representation of christianity, not God. Jesus was a saint that walked the earth and is a symbol of a singular denomonation. Theres plenty of people supporting people that believe this country that never have seen the word Jesus as a symbol of christianity as God.

  • god is everywhere

  • Thank you and God bless you.

  • awesome! brought tears to my eyes.

  • awsome...brought tears to my eyes.

  • Hermosas Pinturas un saludo desde Ixtapa Zihuatanejo

  • This is just a beautiful & true painting. He is the Peace!

  • You don't need believe Christianity this religi Jesus is not a religion.

  • wow.... that painting is so stunning.... it makes me want to cry... =(

  • Beautiful.

  • Jon McNaughton, One of the Nations greatest Historians by not by His writings, but by His paintings. For His paintings speak not just a thousand words, it speaks of thousands of generations of Men and for what the the future wil bring!

  • Peace is that moment in time when everyone is reloading.

  • @Clayxbmx Lol, true. Its sad that there will never truely be peace. I know it sounds kinda sick, but I think war is cool. Not the killing part, but the tracers, explosions, tanks, ect. Now that can all be done in movies. As a guy, im naturally attracted to cool stuff like that. I dont condone killing and I hate war, but (please dont judge me cause i HATE killing) it makes for a good show. Sad, but true. Politicians get their rocks off watching it unfold, I haft to see the funerals. fucked up.

  • uh huh, peace is coming after we realize that religions are nothing more than politics and are only used to separate people and diminish our true power. Putting God and war in the same sentence is repulsive.

  • I bet you've never even read the bible. If your gonna talk crap on religion, at least have some sort of understanding of it first.

  • yea, peace is coming once we remove religion from the earth.

  • Bravo

  • Absolutely beautiful and emotional!!

  • Comment removed

  • That's awesome that he put Strider of LotR in there! I especially like the tree of Gondor.

  • Comforting and beautiful!

  • Jon McNaughton is a true artist and a GREAT AMERICAN !!!

    GOD BLESS AMERICA...please !!!

  • Jon

What a great work you are doing.

  • I saw both the video's & things truly aren't the same in this world. The Holy Bible was translated by King James who was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Freemason & we don't know what he left out, or added to the Bible. When you become a 33rd degree Freemason you must denounce Jesus Christ & God, & accept Lucifer as your god.Until we get rid of the so called elite people who are in power we will never know the true history of the world, or the bible.

  • Western people value the sanctity of life far more than others, which explains why war is far less prevalent on our continents. To think that we as Americans can instill our values on other cultures will always fall short of success.

  • There will never be peace, As long as humans draw breath there will always be war.

  • @manowar40 si vis pacem, para bellum

  • @Quex01 How very true... If you wish for peace, prepare for war" Thanks

  • Incredible! I have a necklace, with the "Tree of Life" almost exactly as it is on the image portrayed as Jesus....

  • My goodness! My goodness! My goodness! so moving. so true. CHRIST is coming back! He does have His angels all around us.

  • The only Peace we will ever know is Jesus Christ! Come quickly Lord Jesus!!

  • Sick. Jesus does not agree with wholesale murder, which is what war is.

Didn't he say "love your brother, pray for your enemy?" No where does he ever say to get involved in the world's wars!

  • @countrytelepicker - Chapter Nine of the Koran is the most evil thing that i have ever read. You cannot be a true believer in Islam unless you obey Chapter Nine so I don't understand your point.

  • @dahlby01 If the Koran teaches people to kill people, then WHY would I want to know ANYTHING about ANY CHAPTER of the Koran? I believe in the KING JAMES BIBLE ONLY!!! Not the KORAN, NOT the NEW king james, NOT the American revised, NOT the Standard or ANY other version of the INSPIRED WORD OF GOD!! If 2nd Timother reads anything other than "STUDY to shew thyself approved unto God, a WORKMAN needth NOT be ashamed rightly dividing the word of TRUTH"... I don't want anything to do with it.

  • @yucchhiiowwee I am agreeing with you. I wasn't speaking in favor of the Koran just pointing out that it is more of a control philosphy than a religous text.

  • @dahlby01 Oh, ok. Sorry 'bout that! That was MY misunderstanding. I hate when I do that...lol. I appreciate you letting me know though! May God Bless your socks off!!!

  • @yucchhiiowwee You too!

  • Spc. Henscheid is my cousin! Thanks Cody for all you do! And thank you Jon for your work in this painting, it was a pleasure meeting you.

  • @kinli1 The propper thing to do would be to THANK GOD for Cody and for God to hold Cody in his loving arms for protection and BLESSING!!! I do appreciate Cody but thanks be to God FOR him.

  • Another excelllent painting.

  • awesome picture

  • Beautiful but Jesus should have been faceless. There is a common color to the people in your drawing. Please im not the type to cry racism for eveything but there are too many questions that stray people away from the catholic religion. I was raised catholic and in our beautiful country of america we have a problem. I understand the beauty of the drawing but there are many who wont. We are all EQUAL in the eyes of the lord. No matter which one you worship.

  • @SUPER126 If U don't mind, NO disrespect intended, PLEASE understand. I have a question 4 U. I am CHRISTian, I pray thru Jesus 4 things I ask of God. I asked a Catholic person recently "WHY" do u pray 2 Mary?" He said cause Mary is mother of Jesus & she gives him the message. I said that defeats the purpose of Jesus having come. THAT is why Jesus came, to bridge the gap 'tween Us & God. We go thru Jesus & HE goes 2 God 4 us. I Mary were alive today, she'd ask WHY pray to me? I'm NOT JESUS!

  • All I can say is, AMEN!!

  • The artist is a Christian and he has the right to paint what he likes, what he believes and what he feels. For those of you that have a problem with that, go check out somebody else's art and leave those of us who can appreciate and admire this in peace. Blessings to all. And especially to Mr. McNaughton for his fantastic talent...

  • In Christ, even though you die-you live. That's the difference.

That's it now! Ha-Ha!! You take care, and I wish you well. It was a pleasure communicating with you!

  • @countrytelepicker

All nice platitudes, of course, but so are the nice parts of Islam. And it has exactly the same lack of evidence.

It might be comforting to believe in such things but I can't even begin to live my life in such a fantasy just because it feels and sounds good. For one thing I'm absolutely fascinated by the REAL world. Having realized that christianity is dressed-up superstition, I'm thrilled to learn freely what the evidence points to.

    Reality rocks!

    Has been a pleasure.

  • "A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word 'darkness' on the walls of his cell".

    ~~C.S. Lewis~~

  • I now rest my case. It is my sincere prayer that those who have not received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior will through the power of the Holy Spirit.

I judge no one. God is the ultimate judge. Amen.

  • @countrytelepicker

    Evenin',

Think about prayer. If you really wanted something to happen, would you pray or actually do something? If you do something AND pray then that doesn't say much for prayer.

Church busses crash all the time causing death. They happen at the same rate as any other bus crash. Why? Shouldn't this benevolent god be looking after them his "children?" But it doesn't work that way.

I'm simply advocating for a rational view of our existence rather than a superstitious one.

  • @AdoptReality

    Good Morning,

In Christ, even though you die-you still live. That's the difference, and, the promise that God made through His Son who willingly suffered and died, and rose again on the third day. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but will have everlasting life-John 3:16. No one ever did what Christ did. It has been my sincere pleasure discussing this with you. I wish you the very best-take care.

  • Unbelievable.

  • What an incredible world this would be if we had one less thing to divide us: religion. Muslims and christians would just be people. There would still be divisions but fewer people would be willing to blow themselves if religion were understood as the ancient superstition that it is.

  • @AdoptReality

    Dear Adopt Reality,

I now rest my case. It is my sincere prayer that all who have not received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior-will through the power of the Holy Spirit.

I judge no one. God is the only judge. Amen.

  • Make no mistake, we don't control our lives in the same way we control our cars. But we control them to a large extent by the choices we make. Wanna be a doctor? Better get training, go to college, etc.

No supernatural being controls things, that's for sure, at least not as described by any of the thousands of remarkably silly human superstitions.

If there is a god, he's nothing like what modern superstitions have described so far.

  • @AdoptReality Howdy AdoptReality,

    Thanks for your response.

The God that I believe in loves all people. That's the reason that He sent His only Son to be the atoning sacrifice for sin. There is no other that did what Jesus did that day on Calvary. I once was a skeptic, even dabbled with horoscopes and all of that "uncertain stuff"-but the day Christ entered my heart-it changed me forever. Believe me when I say-I would never want to judge anyone. God can't look at sin, that's why we must repent

  • @countrytelepicker

All nice christian words but it fails to acknowledge reality. There is nary a shred of evidence that this god exists. Look around at how many gods humans have created with jesus being one in a long line.

And what a horrific imagination. This supposedly loving god lets BILLIONS of people choose a different god and burn in hell forever?

All these claims about god's supposed characteristics can be whatever you want them to be since there's no proof possible.

  • @AdoptReality

I wish to add the following: I will never be perfect until I reach Heaven. I don't claim to be perfect-I have faults like everyone else. I know as a Christian that I'm in a battle until my life is over here on earth. One day, I will have a perfect body, I will not be tempted by sin, I will not shed another tear-for all of these things will be wiped away in a twinkling of an eye. That is my promise from my Lord, and I will persevere and hold strong in my faith. Amen.

  • @countrytelepicker

    It's nice to be civil!

Yet a billion muslims say you're all wrong. They've had powerful experiences, miracles, etc. And a billion other people have different experiences with their own god, experiences they claim are just as real.

But not a shred of verifiable evidence. God NEVER heals amputees, for example, because doing so would be a verifiable act of god.

It's all really just a bunch of trite religious words that change in the wind of different interpretations.

  • @AdoptReality

    Good Morning,

I believe that one has to to really look into each religion to be fair. I know that the Holy Bible ultimately teaches Christ's forgiveness. It does not teach hatred toward women or allow them to live in bondage not being able to show their face in public. Just simply ask a woman who has converted to Christianity the difference-or a man for that matter. You will then see a clear difference between the religions.

  • Respond to this video... Good Morning AdoptReality,

I would like to also mention that Christ never forces Himself on no one. For that would not be true love. You receive Him by a mustard seed of faith-that's it-a mustard seed of faith. A very simple message-made complicated by man.

As a Christian, I am to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in a loving way-never compromising with a worldly view. Man changes, God does not change. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen.

  • @countrytelepicker

Have you noticed, though, that a supposed mustard seed of faith never actually does anything miraculous? God will never heal the amputee, stop the hurricane or do anything else to really reveal he even exists.

I succumbed to this belief for most of my adult life. Now I'm free to analyze it for the contradictory man-made religion that it is. A billion+ muslims think THEIR god is it.

Christ takes on what characteristic the speaker once since there's never any proof.

  • @AdoptReality

    Good Evening,

The proof is the 5000 plus that He fed, all those that seen Him perform miracles, even doubting Thomas, and the thief on the cross who asked not to be forgotten-and Jesus, seeing the man's faith said "Tonight you will be with me in paradise". That's just as much proof as (1) eyewitness in a court of law in our own country. Jesus will always be the one who will touch a nerve in people-for He points us to the sinners that we are. How about the miracle of breathing?

  • May I please add:

God performs miracles every day. It's just that we are sometimes too busy to see them. Look how marvelous we were created. A Watch Maker does not build a watch by throwing the parts in the air and all of a sudden it comes in to existence. Think about God when He grants you your breath. He does not promise that our days will all be without pain and suffering-but He does promise to be with us through each. We inherited the original sin from Adam and Eve.

  • Our finite minds cannot totally comprehend an all knowing omnipotent God. He does not work on our time table. I've spoke with many people over the years as an Evangelist of the gospel and have heard many accounts where God by His infinite wisdom did indeed perform miracles. It is only done by His will. Some day I know Christ will return to put and end to this sinful world that we live in. A real miracle is that He is slow in His return so that no one should perish. That's love!

  • I find Jon's paintings and testimonies outstanding. You feel his pride in his Country and his love for God. What a witness!

  • @K9Apache

The paintings reveal great skill and talent. Our pride would better be spent in the people who made this country great, NOT some mystical sky god.

I'd sure rather see THEIR contribution celebrated over one particular religion's superstitious deity.

  • Life expectancy has doubled because of modern discoveries in both hygiene and medicine. Those are human interventions--no superstition required.
