it is a stunning piece of work. I am amazing that you can just bang it out...and with a marker. While I do agree with @tallbober. it still takes time and practice for one to build up their skill set to know what and how to do loosely; for the subconscious to control.

That's exactly the kind of video that shows people how it's done. Don't spend 1 minute on defining a specific line. Go in loosely and have fun, let your subconcious control your strokes and you'll end up with a good looking drawing. PLay with thin and large lines, darker and lighter !!!!

@tallbober thats what having drawing skills is all about, being able to let your subconcious control your movement on the paper and not hesitating. Just flow out the ideas. But its easy to say, another thing to actually do it. if you want to improve this skill you need to step away from all formalities and stop worrying about how your drawing is gonna end up. again, not easy to do

this is good, ive been sketching seriously for quite some time now, since i was 8 infact, ive always ben interested in concept art and portraits. Its never too late to start, but looking back i drew for crazy hours everyday when i was younger.

I finished my first attempt at a portrait of my mother and son yesterday and its pretty good. but i put any talent i have now down to practice when i was a kid. If i sound patronising i apologise, but if your starting out just draw like a demon for hours.
