Just wanna shout out to all you heads. Grew up in SF and had the honor to see the Dead around 200 shows. From SF to NY and most points in between. Berkley, Springfield, Red Rocks, Santa Fe, Apline Valley, umm, and some other places. What incredible good fortune. I wouldn't trade those shows for twice as many brains cells back.

Being 18 years old....discovering the Grateful Dead was definitely life changing. It's hard to explain, but the Dead really have become an ever constant soundtrack around my life. Whether it's flying down a back country road, hanging with old time buddies, or stargazing on a warm summer night. The music just speaks volumes.

@TheCoughlm Yeah, Jerry made a lot of mistakes. A lot actually. He had his moments both good and bad like everyone else including Wes and Joe and the other guys. It is a little foolish to be under the impression that guys (like them) didn't make many mistakes. One of the things that separates the Dead from the rest in the honesty. These guys played 2,000+ shows and are confident enough to release both the good and bad, while Guys like Wes would not dare of releasing a lesser night.
