Jenny he was in a number of plays at the Kings Head Islington, one of them was Ellegies for Angels Punks an Raging Queens, it transferred to the Drill Hall I didnt go with it but took my eldest daughter, got front row seat. Brendan had to very serious monologue (deceased soldier) and in mid speech gave Lou ise the biggest wink ive ever witnessed LOL (some of the songs , not the kings head version, are on my channel) Lovely stuff
ive worked with brendan and hes something else i was homel;ess for a cwhile n he put me up at his pad in islington . hes alsop a darn good director aand ive been his stage manager on a few fringe plays in london. have lost touch with him regrettably
@triffiks I'm just a hopeless fan.....I know nothing of Brendans personal life but hope one day you and he will meet up again Take good care Love Jenny xxx
Hi what is the name of the programme at 58. I remember seeing him in it years ago and thinking what a good actor he was. He has slipped past my radar since, I don't know how. Recently rediscovered him on Downton Abbey as John Bates. Absolutely loving him and the character he plays. Wont be missing him in the future.
