Yeah, panting is a common sign of stress in cats, and if you'd just changed his environment than he's likely to be a little overwhelmed. No big deal, as long as it didn't continue regularly, which you said it hasn't. :)

nothing is wrong with the cat, my cat did the same thing when it was his first time outside. he was an inside cat and excited to see outside. maybe thirsty, but when i gave my cat water he looked at it and walked away, when he was doing this same thing he was rubbing against my leg....... you guys need to chilax just because you never seen your cat do this before. cute kitten btw.

The cat's fine. This was filmed at the beginning of last year on his first day out. He's panted once or twice since, but not for over a year.
