  • Adams a pimp

  • Wyatt made me cry

  • LOL over Wyatt when he saids "Where's my dick" =P

  • Lexi needs 2 lose weight

  • i don't like the way they treat adam. instead of treating him like a child, they make sure they treat him like a child with autism, letting him know constantly that he's different.

  • i am a 13 year old girl with autism (mild-moderate). lexi reminds me of myself in so many ways. we are on the same page in so many ways (we seem to be working on the same stuff and we have the same personalities, i think). i am not yet taking life skills classes (as said in part 7) but i will next year. she reminds me of a second me!

  • i wish i had autisim no offense

  • Henry needs a haircut

  • Wyatt broke MY HEART!!!!!

  • Adam's presentation is beautiful! That teacher should not be a teacher though... But I love his peers responses to him!! They are really accepting and loving. What a beautiful picture.

  • Watching the section with Adam and his regular teacher--I want to strangle her. No patience, only criticism, no praise or positive energy. Lady, I REALLY hope you've retired because you are POISON to children's developmental potential.

  • Wyatt is wise beyond his years - notice how open and honest he's being with his mother. Maybe mainstream school isn't right for him, but it sounds like maybe special school isn't right for him either? This is where we really need to think about what needs to be done with the education system to accommodate better for kids on the autism spectrum.

  • My attention turns to the part where Adam's one-on-one teacher is talking about how well he gets on with the girls, and says something like "it really breaks my heart when I imagine what he would be like if he wasn't autistic". Seriously, wait till he's in his 20s or 30s.

  • Elaine treats these kids like a bunch of 4 year olds

  • Henry reminds me not only of myself as a child but myself now, in a lot of ways (I haven't been formally diagnosed with Asperger's because I am hyperactive and anxious, but it's been brought up numerous times). I had never seen a movie with a real Asperger's child in it before, and the mannerisms, the blurting out questions and acting "immaturely", and the focus on what most people would consider small details fit me 100%. I enjoyed this a lot. I knew about Autism but not so much about AS.

  • she didnt mean it in a bad way....i actually think that adam's teacher will feel some attachment to adam even when he's older... she's not saying he won't be able to be a lady's man...but that his life will be a little difficult

  • wyatt rocks

  • The way Wyatt talks about the bullying goes so deep. He's so wise! Poor guy, STOP BULLYING !!

  • wow what a bitch that teacher is .. saying if he wasn't autistic .. the possibilitys .. autism isn't a fucken curse ..it's an unfortunate disorder that some kids have .. I believe people with autism can live a somewhat normal life if treated with love and respect .. fuck what other people say ...doctors and therapists use to tell me I wouldn't make past High School.. I proved those mothafuckers wrong .. I'm going to college and i'm majoring in Psychology .. so I can one day help these children

  • @beezy272 You're so right! I think the teacher was wrong saying that! They like him because of who he is. If he wasn't autistic he'd be way diffrent and maybe those girls didn't even like him! You are who you are! And thumbs up for you! I think it's amazing proving them wrong! No one can ever tell you what you can't do!

  • @beezy272 you know before i watched it i was like wtf is she talking about, and your right she was100% wrong for that comment. If shows how she really feel...she doesnt have any expectations of him ever fitting in to society as a "normal"(and i use normal very loosely cause who the fuck is really normal?) functioning person. It pissed me off cause he has already defied many expectations just by being mainstreamed. And I personally know adult with autism who hold various jobs and live independently

  • @beezy272 I think she meant that even with his autism he can get through well and if he didn't you could imagine the possibilities. no need for name calling try thinking about the positive parts not the negative

  • @beezy272 i was told the same thing; now I'm graduating college in 6 months to work with children with autism. Keep it up!

  • @beezy272 I don't thinks she meant it as a bad way. Don't forget, she works with Adam everyday, and she can see his protential. Like you said is a disorder, and this disorder make people with autism cannot process information the same as other or communicate their thoughts. Or else, you won't want to "help" them, right? I worked with Autistic kids and sometimes I wonder what they are thinking. I wish they can tell me. I love working with them. Their heart are as pure as gold :)
