  • @arcadeidiot3 FAIL you'll just blow your esc in your revo ( un less if u have a different brushless in it) the vxl 3m esc can only go up to a 4s!

  • okay he just dicovered a motor

    wtf

  • i'm very new at this rc game, so i quess what you are trying to say is the brushless is rather quiet? Although, what i have picked up so far, the brushless is a lot better over the brushed, right?

  • bored??

  • @Lekkereddy Someone wanted to know what a healthy brushless motor sounds like since they thought theirs had problems.

  • Sounds Boring...

  • Sound? LOL!

  • lol ur just jealus

  • thats fantastic that u have a rustler and i have a emaxx with Mamba monster and a slash 4x4 with mamba max 6900kv running on 6s lipos and my computer is also liquid cooled is ur comp liquid cooled? i dont think so.

  • That's nice and all, but I didn't need or care to know all of that. If you just want to grow your e-peen, then you can go somewhere else and do it. The fact that you spend money on things that won't help you advance in life, and then brag about them on YouTube doesn't impress me. Thanks.

  • @EMAXXMASTER liquid cooling is a waste of money! How do you like your Emaxx with the MMM? What kv motor did you get? Isn't the Slash to heavy for 6900kv?

  • @elitecamaroz28 my emaxx is beast. blew the drive shafts lol so igot them in steel as well as axles. and the slash is light so 6900kv push at like 55 mph

  • @EMAXXMASTER think your emaxxx is fast on a 6s huh ill run you against my mini erevo on 6s k? o and liquid cooling a comp is a waste of money.....

  • yo bad for the motor i got a nwe 4x4 slash beast

  • How do you like the 4x4 slash? I've been considering converting my brushless Revo to a Slayer, but I'm not sure about the shorter A-arms and stuff.

  • very bad for motor retard

  • Thanks for caring, retard. I know what I'm doing. The pack was nearly discharged, and there was absolutely no danger of over-revving the motor, which is the only reason it's "bad for motor" to run without a load.

Also, it doesn't cause prolonged effects. If something is going to break, it'll break right then and there or very soon afterward.

And, for your information, this motor has been running strong in my rustler AND my friend's stampede on 9-cells since this video was recorded.

  • uuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • yeah you shouldnt also callwed free reving

  • Description says "Recorded this on a NEAR-DISCHARGED 8-cell pack. MM5700"

  • this vid is pointless

  • they don't sound like brushed at all.... if he actually punched the throttle it would sound like a little girl screaming.

  • it sounds the same as brushed !

  • ah ah ah ah ah ah oh sorry just taking a piss

  • it sounds the same as brushed

  • Good job, say goodbye to your motor.

  • I did. Some 9 months ago... still going strong for some reason.

I knew what I was doing. Lay off.

  • Good reply =]

  • wat motor from mambe is best and wat esc sidewinder or originbal

  • dude u will BLOW THE SPEED CONTROL DOING THAT

  • its not lickly but he will snap the connecting rod after a wile....

  • no con rods in electric motors... nitro guys psh.. hahaha

  • lol. i dont remember what its called

  • a rotor in brushless system armature in brushed system

  • reminds me of the dentist haha

what does the term brushless apply to? remember... i know nothing! haha

  • Brushless applies to the technology used to turn the motor. Brushless motors are generally much faster and more efficient than brushed motors.

  • brushed motors have a shaft with coper wire wound around it and magnets on the case of the motor so they need brushes to get the power to the spining shaft with the copper wire on it. brushless motors have the copper wire in the metal case of the motor and the magnets on the shaft/axle and the power can be put th the copper wire alot easier because it is not spinning!!

    hope i could help

  • gotcha! thanks

  • And since there are much less surface grinding without the brushes, you get a silent output rotation plus the addition power that would be lost in the direct contact of the rotor with the brushes..

  • my brushless moter is a little better

  • true, thats not advised, but its not revving high. the reason you shouldnt run a motor without any load is because it can easily reach rpm high enough to do damage to its internals. as long as he only runs the motor at LOW speed (like he is doing in the vid) he's not going to blow anything up.

LoooL, fuck up a new BL system, everyone knows - no mount/no load - no run....

OK, rustlerboy already says whats wrong...

  • learn fucking English

  • Thats a good way to fuck up a new BL system. Dont rev the motor with no load.

  • This was a test for a guy on URC. I don't do this regularly. I understand the dos and don'ts of motors. Thanks, though. :)

  • try it with a 3 cell lipo =)

  • Haha you mean rcu. I'm on the forums to. My name is sunco1. I'm mostly in the mini's but im in the traxxas forum to. And truggy sometimes

  • what would happen if this is done more regular

  • Brushless > brush anyday
