The trainer should have had a pep talk prior to recording...no pivot on the back foot, no step at 12o'clock. What the heck is this guy teaching this girl?
@4everteamalice That's great!! I think Pete Rose said it best: "see the ball, hit the ball". But my favorite is Yogi Berra: "you can't think and hit". Be relaxed at the plate focusing on nothing but seeing the ball well. Of course during practice work on knee drive, hand position, getting the hands through, rotation with head down etc etc..........but at game time..........release your mind to the flight path of the ball. GREAT JOB!!! Keep swinging!!
And rotating into the pitch with her hands back. And less motion with the front foot and a dozen other things. Thank you for the comment. I'm not this young ladies hitting coach :-(. We r In a tournamnet in bend and I just got back from a game after I watched this video an I hit a homerun!!! Hard focus is important thx for posting
