quack - seriously though,,,, stop using einstein as your reference mr kaku, why don't you go do your own calculations and stop believing so much in an early 20th century scientist. he said the universe had a speed limit, and that limit is light but then one would think,,, well light is made of something also and in order for light to exist then it's properties would need to be resonating faster than what we perceive the speed of light to be. but time travel? no sir,,, i slap you.

And if you, I, and other life without awereness don't exist... even your said M Theory wouldn't matter. But in the beginning God was already there... He is the awareness that brought the universe to existence.... Now let's go back to your example. If you commit a crime no matter what... the Great Awareness KNOWS !!! =).

Time travel isn't possible without some kind of holes in space because if you create a graph with time on the x axis, going back in time would require you at on instant to graph a line straight up and down. This causes there to be no slope and the actual slope to be a number divided by zero: impossible

i think time travel is possible but it will take a long time to discover something to travel with if we can go fast than the speed of sound why cant we go faster than the speed of light?

Because traveling at such extreme speed has its consequences. The speed of light is constant from any frame of reference (point of view) as stated by the Special Theory of Relativity. To make things a bit simpler, the equation e=mc^2 shows that matter can be converted into energy and vice-versa. In nuclear reaction, matter is converted into energy. In extreme acceleration, energy is converted into matter, thus adding mass to an object accelerating at such high speed. This is not all though....

Time travel provokes scientific and philosophical thought in almost everybody. I tend toward Philosophy because in my opinion even Stephen Hawking is having to make educated guesses here. I know that's the basis for so much scientific theory, but still. Sir Patric Moore recently spoke about how he thought Scientists (specifically regarding Astro-physicists) might be making conclusions on small evidence- ie. not having enough evidence available and so basing EVERYTHING on what they do have.

These brilliant people all have ONE BIG problem They will theorize endlessly time travel, 11 dimensions, the 'string' theory, black holes and other infinite bits of nothings & useless rubbish compared to the 2 REAL questions. I believe they do this because they can never hope to answer the 2 REAL questions and they want to lead us away like frightened children from the reality of that!. Why do we exist? What is our purpose? Just answer these two questions and I'd be happy.

Nobody knows if it's infinite or not. As for myself, I don't really enjoy thinking too much about what was there before the big bang. So all you can "mentally absorb" are speculations, not even logical guesses, thus - useless. Think about that, you can't win a game of chess if you don't know the rules.
