Wow, this was the first day that I had my detector. I scouted a volleyball net and found 3 cents, couple pieces of iron and a shit ton of gum/foil wrappers.

Just make sure you dont "zig-zag" the coil like the guy there is doing, you will not detect much at all this way.. Overlap the coil about 25% , this way you will have a much better chance of finding coins and smaller items..

Don't use the Garrett headphones, as neither the Ace 250 nor the headphones have a volume control and this could possibly damage your hearing. This spoils an otherwise excellent machine.
