I am at a stage where I want to avoid problems later on. Did you use a liner over the whole of the area and did it prove worthwhile. I think it is a must and to get the best possible. Am I right or wrong?
Just updated our pondless waterfall and changed it to a waterfall with pond. Was not happy with the water flow or the overall look. Check it out. Still loving your Pondless Waterfall!
You're right. If you look at the later pictures in "Boise Pondless Waterfall - A View Over Four Years" you'll see we did just that with ferns and many other plants.
Nice job, has a good sound to it! Alot of mistakes are made by not using a pump with enough flow! or GPH, You did your homework and should be proud of your work, great job.
@dhighway59 Thanks for the nice words. But it really wasn't my doing. I just bought a kit and followed the instructions. The only creative part was watching a bunch of videos on layout and arranging the structure. The pump calcs were already done for me.
That looks soo cool...I think the trick is to make the water zig zag in direction over shallow bits just like this. You've done a supa job! I want one but no space..
DIY type of person? Well, I've done small scale projects before but my brother and father would laugh at the notion. No, I did this one pretty much by the numbers with the instructions from several books and the kit itself. The challenge wasn't technical, really since the kit was reasonably self explanatory. The challenge was more stylistic. I had to go through several dry runs in laying the stones to make sure was going to have the effect I wanted. Good luck with yours!
Very nice to see -- the sound of the water gives one the impression that it is much bigger -- almost expecting to see a raft coming over the waterfall. :-)
When can the world expect the next offering from AWM Productions?
