I'm a Vancouverite & UBC grad. who is living in the U.S. where I did a unique a degree program & have to stay longer because of my job. Do I like living here? No. Do I feel safe here? No. Do I want to retire here? Not likely--unless I marry a millionaire between now & then! Do I miss BC? Hugely!! Would I have loved to be there for the Olympics, crowds notwithstanding? Absolutely! I miss Vancouver, BC and Canada. So celebrities who live where their work is--I understand. My heart is in BC!
