I'm wondering in which album of geordie I can find this new "can you do it" version ? I'm also wondering if there are also other geordie songs rerecorded in different versions ?

@dunhill0005 I can't help you with the second question I'm afraid, but my version of this came with an album called 'Can You Do It' which I think is a greatest hits compilation.

@dunhill0005 hi m8 this track is the only one johnson and the original members of geordie rerecorded before johnson left to join ac/dc in 1980. its from a compilation from germany called all because of you the greatest hits which has original versions of ELECTRIC LADY AND ALL BECAUSE OF YOU..try e.bay germany you might pick up a copy, i found mine in a bargain basket in great yarmouth about 15 years ago { i liked geordie when they were first out in 72 } hope this helps
