  • this is the bassline used on the harmony album rather than here comes everybody. i think i prefer the later one.

  • @UltimateVenom well, the versions with the bonus tracks/singles

  • @UltimateVenom These are the lyrics from that version, as well. I wonder when it was modified to the album version?

  • THIS IS DESTROY

  • you can disappear into this music - i did several times through the years...very beautifull..

  • stunning music!

  • perfect bass line. and what I esp like is the colourful light in this video and how it changes.

  • Excellent tune! Does anyone know where I can find the lyrics?

  • Who says Bobby Gillespie is a talentless hack? Get bass player.

  • I have this DVD, its brilliant listening even if a bit low budget :D "Here Comes Everybody" is the first song i heard by The Wake, i always get hypnotised by it, the dubby bassline, the sad minimal atmosphere and that kind of toned down guitar. Brilliant- a band completely lost in time and under appreciated.

  • They have a DVD?

  • Not so lost...there's a new album coming out this year.

  • @Leukatriene hey you can trade o sell me that DVD? I have others dvds of new wave bands, let me know!

  • here comes everybody is way better than harmony especially the reissue with added singles

  • Thanks for sharing this, The Wake are too obscure despite their brilliance. Well gloomy.

I recommend their 'Harmony' cd, (featuring this song) to all.

  • NOOOO 'here comes everybody' all the way, it has the studio version of this song, with the brilliant song 'oh pamela' and the inclusion of their 1987 ep that will blow you away.

  • The intro to this is fantastic, disappointed with how the song ends up though

  • I take it you haven't heard the studio version...Have a listen and I think you'll get it.

  • i have the studio version, I just feel it is a bit depressing, I like their more upbeat stuff, which is also depressing but toe tapping depressing which is what I like.

The intro, i repeat, is just great tho!!

Cant believe you get thumbs down for expressing an opinion!

  • Blimey O'Reilly it's Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream fame on bass, before he turned into a right twat.

  • haha! Very true!

  • Like this band, surprized havent heard of before.

  • It sounds almost like it's going to be quite a jolly song at the start with caeser playing guitar, quite odd.

  • "Milk and honey waiting for me on the other side, I'll never fall in love again, but you could change my mind"
