  • amazing vocals, but come on, you're on a stage - move!! Professional quality singing and amateur staging...

  • God, I love this song.

  • lindsay hirata is crazy good.

  • this is fucking incredible.

  • Unreal.

  • No need for more movement. Less is more. The song speaks for itself. I am very impressed. It's a hard song to pull off well. Congratulations!

  • wow. just-- wow.

  • from all the videos I have seen this is one of the greatest productions I have ever seen of SFANW. I am going to be in this show off broadway in december. if by any chance you have the entire show on one video I would be forever greatful! haha These are amazing videos to learn from as everything is executed so well.

  • doing for choir - goosebumps :)

  • @maddz96 same here!

  • Brilliant!

  • My camps show choir class is doing this song for our show case! This is a reaally great video, but some more movement/dance on stage would've been nice. :3

  • AMAZING vocalists. Well done!

  • where is this from?

  • My favorite part was the choreography.

  • Fantastic. So well done.

  • if you made CD of this, i'd buy it. i'm sure i wouldn't be alone. i wish i was there for your actual show! you guys actually rival the original recording.

  • didnt expect that voice from the bigger guy on the left

  • I'm too embarress to make more videos, these guys are better.

  • We're doing this song in my vocal group. I love how intense it gets when everyone comes in with "A new world shattering the silence. A new world that I'm afraid to see." The walls shake when we do it xD

  • I love the way you did this song! Beautiful!! Did you happen to do Hear My Song as well??

  • There are a ton of versions of this song on YouTube, but I think this one's the best.

  • Ugh I seriously LOVE the second woman's voice. She has such good tone quality

  • Oh. My God. This is frickin genius.

  • wow, what a beautiful blend you guys have!!!

  • tenor...shut up.

  • @jjbia Why? He's spot on.

  • the first female solo makes a good Kim in Miss Saigon

  • Great job.... love this show and you guys did a really good job!

  • Where is this? It's very impressive.

  • wow those voices are absolutely amazing! goosebumps...

interesting movement, or lack thereof, but i think it works in the context of the song - a new world, the unknown. it makes sense that they would be standing still, not knowing what to do or where they are.

  • Great vocals. Too much just standing around with your arms at your side.... overall... very good :)

  • Excellent job! I really enjoyed it!

  • GO ASIANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful!!!!

  • WOW Lindsey! Beautiful....WOW Robert.. Can I just call you Jesus? hahha Your voice is like salvation anyway.. :)

  • 1st girl: Hunny, That was flawless , but why on earth did you just stomp across stage.....

  • Fabulous! Man 1 is my dream role. His parts are the best throughout the show, and arguably the most challenging, considering the immense range you would need to have to pull it off.

  • That was gorgeous!! My high school did Songs For A New World way back when I was a senior and I sang the "Flagmaker" song. A truly beautiful show and you did it justice. Congrats.

  • Love the first soloist

  • great first soloist!!!

  • The first female soloist should work for Disney. Incredible voices.

  • Yes! THANK YOU! This is how its done. good acting, great singing! Gorgeous harmonies on the last "chorus" .They know what they're doing. congrats.

  • 2nd woman and man are good. First two are ok. Way too dark setting and very stiff movement. Agoura High School did do it better for setting but the final harmonies in this version are better.

  • omg very very goód singers!

  • WOW everyone could sing!!!! great job!

  • really good vocals, almost perfect i would say

but more stage movement would have helped, they kinda just stood there with nothing to do, maybe get them a mic to hold in their hand?

but overall, really well done, high quality sounds :D

  • @xxxSleepmanZzz this is supposed to be a mellow song with minimum movement

  • @xxxSleepmanZzz seeng as its from a play, a mic would not be gd, not very realistic!!

  • @DanceStudioPresents

Sorry to point this out to you. But if somebody wants to be realistic, they dont all face the fourth wall and sing... :P

  • Very nice. Very good voice range.

  • there are TONS higher notes in this show for him that are on more awkward sylables

  • oh wow that was fantastic!!

  • AMAZING! well done

  • commented too soon. They all have good voices but could they be a little less stiff? They all look like singing card board cut outs. COme on. Agoura High School did it SOOOOO much better. You want some Great vocals check them out

  • 100% FALSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i sang a solo part in thin song in a musical, this was awesome =)

  • i'll sing this song on an audition in germanys most famous stage school....school of musical (singing), acting and dancing....

this will be sooo much fun =)

i love this version by the way...

  • Anyone else think the first soloist's voice resembles a young Lea Salonga?

  • agreed. all of them have really great voices, by the way

  • WOW!! I just have two words: THANK YOU!!!

  • It was Ray of Light Theatre in San Francisco, and about 2 years ago

  • FINALLY, great vocals!!

  • thats incredible...what an amazing musical!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing! =)

  • That first soloist is nothing short of Amazing.

  • this is great! where is it??

  • this is amazing!

  • Best vocals I've ever heard on this song. now just get physically involved with it, try a little acting with it and this would be PHENOMENAL!!!

  • everyone in this is amazing! great work

  • the guy on the left has incredible range

  • Piano: Ben Prince
