There is o way that a northener could ecer realize what this song means to a Southerner. I have ever seen a Southerner not respond to this song. Northeners just have an idea,,,,,,they don't even have lue, but they do feek it.
After seeing "Kick-Ass", I don't think I'll ever think of this the song the same way again. Now this song makes me want to get in a jetpack and shoot a bunch of people down.
yes i had this song played at my mothers funeral. elvis was her favorite and my favorite too. i would like to know when this was recorded and where. i thought i heard every version elvis sang.
@callumkeohane Elvis sang rock, pop, country, gospel and folk. Michael only sang pop. The country went into a deep morning when Elvis died. He was loved by all races and all ages. That didn't happen for Michael. Sorry!

@TheNobility22 r and b, pop, rock, soul is what MJ done, i think you'll find it was michael jackson who was loved by all races and ages, i guarantee a 25 year old black man would more often than not enjoy MJ more. Also when Michael died it was mourned around the world it was in the same catagory as Diana when she died not Elvis
@callumkeohane No, the mourning wasn't the same. It was years of Elvis everywhere on magazine covers, memorabilia & etc. We'll know in 20 years who we will still be hearing about.
@TheNobility22 wow u are so stupid michael jackson had these things and we'll hear about both in 20 years you absolute fool, the beatles were probably more influential than both tho.
Hey everyone, Absolutely love this song. Can anybody tell me what other version there are of it? I watched a documentary yesterday called ' Elvis the last 24hrs ' and right at the end they played a version of this that I had never heard. It's a studio recording and not live. Does anybody know where I can find this? I have tried ITunes but although there are loads of versions on there the one I want isn't !! Help !!
