This nano is good if you just want music.i can't do my homework if I have my iPod touch around because it's so distracting so I just use my nano to listen to music. And I don't have to worry about losing a $400 item.

I bought an 8G nano (way overpriced) and compared it to my 4th generation ipod nano when I got home.Tbh this nano does not even compare to the traditional nano with the scroll pad. It lacked a lot of features and resembled more of a shuffle with a touch screen! I returned it the next day (never opened the box) and got a touch instead.

This is a perfect fit for me. I'm currently using my ipod video 30g which has less than 11 hour battery life. I only use it for music and I also bring it to the gym with me. This is such a light weight, portable device which has way better efficient battery life. thumbs up for me anyways.

Touch screen is really comfortable , nice and small , love the clip on the back, battery life is great, awesome device if you just love your music and nothing else. Oh, shake to shuffle and radio faves are a nice touch!

I have the iPod touch 4g and it's great but for running and working out it is way to big and bulky. The new nano is great for working out! Great size plus has a clip.

I don't like the iPod shuffle because I can't see anything the only thing I liked about it was the clip and now there is a clip on the new iPod nano! using the iPod nano, for a couple of weeks now, Ive found the battery life is terrible. I only get 4 or 5 hours from general use.

as far as features, video calander etc. I dont need that stuff personally. i just play audio podcast & music. it Clip onto my tee shirt or jeans cant feel its there.
