  • @NothingAtAllXD I did read it, and i was enlightened... Enlightened on how much of a retard that guy is, John taylor gatto - the man who... no wait he's just another conspirator that takes up oxygen just like you. All i was saying is people should quit being bitches and stop whining and take the test...

  • @MrMrjimmeh4 Right. A 30 year school teacher that was the NY State Teacher of the Year for a year. If the school system makes you so smart and intellectual- why wouldn't you have better reading comprehension skills? Oh wait!

  • Wtf ... ? I WONT THE OLD NAVY GIFT CARD !

  • This is retarded... who cares, quit bitching and do it.

  • @MrMrjimmeh4 Right. You really don't know the entire story behind this do you? Go to Google and type "John Taylor Gatto" and then you will be enlightened to figure out why we would refuse a simple test that takes half an hour out of a single school day.

  • What is the down side of purely taking these tests? I understand the idea of being forced to do something you don't legally have to do has its problems, but I am curious about just the testing.

  • @justicetrooper By taking the tests, you are allowing the corrupt public education system to continue. The heart of this system is the mandatory, state-administered tests. Every piece of the curriculum is centered around it and it stifles the teacher's creativity and ingenuity in the classroom. As a result, the education turns into a test-to-test procedure or just memorizing and regurgitating information and thought patterns on a multiple choice answer document. The "student" is not actually

  • @NothingAtAllXD That's something that should be included in the video. :3 Without that sort of context it just appears that the author is paranoid about tests.

  • @justicetrooper That's what it's referencing to. It's alluding to John Taylor Gatto's "Bartleby Project" that he wrote in his book "Weapons of Mass Instruction." Basically says students should not do state tests because they are the key element of the operation and gives all of the facts and documentation on why schools are controlled and not for our well-being.

  • @justicetrooper critically thinking at all. He is only passively engaging as a drone. Everything has been shaped and locked by the architects and there is no creativity, self-sufficiency or self-expression allowed in the public education system. My friend, if you are curious about it- you should go look up "John Taylor Gatto" on the web and read one of his books online for free. There are a plethora of videos available here on YouTube of him too. Please take the red pill.

  • Do some research into your state's requirements. In IL, students have to "take" the Prairie State for graduation, but in reality, that means showing up on test day and sitting there for participation. You do not have to fill in any bubbles for graduation. (This was three years ago -- not sure if that has changed, but I don't think so.) Contact someone at your State Board of Ed. Don't just listen to what the school says. My children have never taken the ISAT and attend public school.

  • Almost every school has an agreement that students and parents have to read and agree to (at my school only parents signed, but the students had to read the whole thing in class). It pretty much gives the school the right to make them "required" for graduation etc. Not totally, but it would be a hard fight.

  • @nighttigress1 The school can't legally make you do anything. Yes there are stipulations that confine playing by their rules but if you really did the background research that resulted in this video then you would understand that the main premise here is to destroy the schools because they are corrupt and destroying are children. This action based on that conclusion is subsequent of well documented facts debunking the erroneous and fallacious assumption that schools are here for the child

  • @nighttigress1 , but in fact, they are here for the exact opposite. They are here to destroy America's future generations and annihilate all of America's traditional values, morals, religious beliefs, ideals, ingenuity and entrepreneurship. I highly recommend that you consult YouTube's search bar with "John Taylor Gatto" and "Charlotte Iserbyt" and discover the deliberately compartmentalized facts that speak for themselves.

  • Minors, who technically have almost no rights in the USA, should not be required to put themselves at risk socially and academically for this. If the parent doesn't want (or is will the agree with the student not) to have the student take the test, say so and keep the child home on testing day.

  • @nighttigress1 Minors are actually guaranteed many constitutional rights and under no reason have the right to be coerced into doing anything at that school building. The student has the unalienable right of ownership to his/her own body and should not be nor feel compelled to sacrifice his rights to do any work under that corrupt public institution. I would recommend searching, "John Taylor Gatto" in the YouTube search bar and learn what you've been missing.

  • What are you trying to do? You are trying to show the state that your teacher is doing his/her job and has taught you the grade level content that has been previously determined by the state. And that you have sufficient knowledge of grade level content to be able to pass on to the next grade, or to college. Next question.

  • @HaloofCurls Yes. You are trying to show to the state that the teacher has done her share of destroying the student's free will and free thinking by simplifying the child's innate intelligence to simple numbers on their ability to regurgitate fragmented pieces of information (in schools- propaganda). Maybe if you took the time to do some research on public education like on "John Taylor Gatto," the person from whom this video was inspired by maybe you would suddenly come to the epiphany that

  • @HaloofCurls public education has been by design created to destroy the minds of young children. Lenin said that education is a weapon that's effect is in who holds it. Indeed it is. This is based on real facts derived from primary sources from the founders themselves. Just do some searches on the founders and see what they thought about public education in their own writings. John Dewey even concedes that he wants education because it is about managing the children and creating habits which

  • @HaloofCurls turn into business being conducted in a predictable society where the consumer is always following the latest "trends" deliberately inserted into the social complex and to help politicians manipulate the masses. That is why he tried to synthesize pragmatism and education and brought principals of animal conditioning known from Ivan Pavlov, B.F. Skinner and Willhelm Wundt to the table in education. Rockefeller himself said that he wanted a nation of workers and he was a big proponent

  • @HaloofCurls of compulsory public education. My advice is that you do a little research into this and stop being ignorant. Go look up "John Taylor Gatto" and "Charlotte Iserbyt" and maybe you'll discover the truth. Adieu!

  • @ccsmotc That's just another threat the schools use. They use the prizes and food as "carrots" and threats of not getting a diploma, etc as the "stick". It's all a lie. You can't legally be forced to take these tests. But the schools don't want you to know that you can opt out. That's why they say stuff like that. How can they require that you take these tests for a diploma when absolutely NOBODY asks about them later in life? These tests are meaningless.

  • If you don't take them you don't get your diploma.

  • @ccsmotc The whole premise of this video was to sabotage the corrupt institution of mandatory public schooling, but you missed that!

  • This is so true!! CAPTs are tomorrow, and this totally goes along with my idea to boycott them! XD

  • @journeytoyesterday -- Yes indeed! More power to you! Boycott and spread the word! Let's defeat testing!

  • @journeytoyesterday Hope that went well.
