I hate when people think they are good BY jamming on the effect button ("DJ! DJ!DJ!DJ!DJ!") and shake the distortion knob wildly... you do it at parts to aid the song. You just look like a newb if you do it all the time... same with people that shake the whammy bar at every long note in GH or smash on the drums like a wild man in Rock Band fill areas. You look like a newb... Less is more...

@DarkNessBear I know your comment is 4 months old but if I may add: I believe (and most dj's do so) that doing D-D-D-D-D-Deejay!  is really awesome. Spinning the effect dial is just sad. I like to do it slow, one way or the other.

But I was talking about the people that do it every time - just because they think they are cooler that they do it so fast. Something my friends do and annoys me...

The first song is ridiculously easy. I got 5* 100% on it expert on my third go on the Daft Punk/ Queen crossover at the beginning of the game. But now-for the most part- I play on hard. So far got three quarters of the game 5*!

I have played very much rhythm games before these 2, i suck at guitar hero but i got this straight to expert at first song, and i think is pretty easy for a rhythm game.

Maybe it's just me but I find cross fade spikes impossible, and cross fading then having to immediately scratch and fade back... really complicated IMO. Guitar Hero just uses one action, way easier to me.
