  • Would this be talking about the War of 1812? I heard it say something about America in it...

  • @TreyTheHunter4

The original song is about an Irish boy joining the British Navy and losing his legs, much to the remorse of his mother.

Bruce just changed the lyris a bit, but it works I think.

  • wierd world where this song got 9k view, and Biber got 100milions

  • Its sad that a song with 5000 views only has 4 comments :( this song is epic, and fits awesomely on Republic of Doyle!

  • Just Awesome very good nice song but...tell me... who is Mrs. McGrath???

  • @TheMuseTime Mrs. McGrath is a fictional character, this song was a folk anti war song and anti military recruiting song out of Ireland in a time when the Irish were conscripted as cannon fodder for foreign armies.

  • @DwnAszPunk Ali said it the best "I got no problem with them Cong".... Horrible to know that life has zero value when it comes to political war.

  • Great song!

  • its EPIC but alas it is very sad at the same time

  • stupenda!
