Oh, I dunno, I think Harris had the wise old grandfather-saint thing going on, but Gambon is more dynamic and a little shady, which I think will work very well for the last two films.

yeah it's a good show it takes a while to get to know all the characters... my mom who used to watch it had to explain it to me, and i don't know EVERYTHING yet! i don't keep track of seasons, for instance...there's also the show Angel which is a spinoff but i don't see it often(it does have a great theme song and the actors are excellent!)

A lot of people seem to agree w/ you. I don't know, w/ the exception of the hair, Draco doesn't seem Spikish enough to me. Draco's more of a big bad wannabe, like Warren (Crabbe and Goyle can be Andrew and Johnathan! LOL.) That and I think Snape is more important to the story.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but it's a lot like buffy season 2, with Ginny as cordy, and Snape as Angel, even though their characters are totally different Snape and Angel both have black hair and are mysterious. btw i loved it! great editing!

Because in the Buffy series, the slayer and her friends were nicknamed "The Scooby Gang" or "Scoobies" in reference to the ghost hunting teens from the cartoon. Just didn't want this vid to get lost among all the "Harry Potter set to Buffy theme"s out there.

OK... I'm ASSUMING you mean because I put her in Willow's role. Don't take it literally, it's more to do with the character archetype, Willow and Hermione are both the smart student who do all the book work for the main hero. And it's about the character similarities not the actors, therefore I didn't make Emma gay, but rather Hermione. :-)

You know, I've actually thought about this and Snape just seems more like a Spike to me. For one thing, he's a lot older and more worldly than the "Hogwarts Scoobies", and he's been the Big Bad as a Death Eater, just as Spike was a vampire. Draco, in comparison, is more of a Big Bad wannabe, the only thing he really has in common with Spike is the hair. I guess I see him as more of a Warren. So that's my reasoning. :-)
