I don't understand the notion of 'shutting down' an MMO. Isn't the whole point to keep the world open and ongoing. Graphics and infrastructures should just be updated over the years to improve the experience. Why should players who have invested so much time (and emotion) into something have to walk away from it due to (*whatever reason developers have for ending these games.*)
started off on the wanderhome server, jumped to ahazi after it's shutdown then moved over to chilastra. met a lot of awesome people along the way, i'm glad i experienced such an awesome thing. IMO, TOR will never be able to replace Galaxies.
@Br4nd0nH776 i totally agree i like TOR but it will never be the same honestly im really going to miss SWG it was my first mmo and nothing will ever replace it
@Miliardo18 It's called 'Claudia's Theme', by Clint Eastwood, from the movie 'Unforgiven'. It's one of my favorite movies, and it's where I got the idea from.The link to itunes used to be displayed before this recent youtube change.

No Game ever will capture for me the passion this game had. i left my character where he spawned on tatooine. forever he will look out even after time passes and i pass. forever watching the twin suns but never seeing them set. his trusty pet near him they are frozen in time forever more.He lives on because when the game is deleted forever he will stand within me. a memory of hope that if ever given the chance. i will someday live as bold as he did.
@maxulic Thank you:) I wanted to make something a bit different from the many other more "epic" style farewell videos out there. Some are really good, but I thought I'd try something a bit different. A simple goodbye to the characters who represented us in game, and their homes(servers) for all those years.
