@SSFootballComp as a matter of fact they have! the VII have a different heel it's not a huge difference but the break in process was far easier than with the VI's. it's still not the easiest shoe to break in because of the soleplate but they're a huge step up from the VI.

I'm a NIKE fan but I hate Mercurial. It looks riddiculous! Horrible! I had no trademark shoes of any company: Diadora, NIKE or Addidas, etc., but NIKE 5 series looks deadly better than a Mercurial does. Oh, and T90's good too. CTR360 seems nice but design's wierd; still way better than Mercurial. If they wanted Mercurial to be, as title says, best shoe in football they should design it better. I'm sorry for what I'm about to say, but I'd.. pick F50 over.. or wait, I'd just play barefooted. xp

The boot only makes a slight difference but it does make one. the lighter the boot the faster yeah yeah you might say well what if I'm slow, however the lighter the shoe the less you feel it on your foot so its like being in bare feet.

Hey I have a narrow foot, I had the talaria mercurial 5. Those were perfectly fine. Not tight on the heels, perfectly fine and comfortable. But now I am using the f50 synthetic and those gave blisters and they are not comfortable at all. I was thinking of buying the CTR and nike tiempo but I am scared if they going to be a little big in the toe and stretch to be bigger. So do you know any cleats you can recommend me to get? because I am getting to get the Mercurial 7 soon

Honestly I've played in both boots and i prefer the f50's they fit my feet more easily than the Vapors I also feel the f50's really do make a difference to your speed because their really light and the studs have good position . Also in the vapors i have to tighter the laces really tight to make them fit my foot because i have narrow feet.However the vapors they may not be as light but you buy a pair of £40 Vapors which may not be as light but are lighter than most standard boots

what about power? the adiZero sole plate is soft as hell and theres hardly any shock absorbed when kicking... mercurial has a fibre plate which is way way stronger than the plastic sole AdiZeros have. but then again, personal preference.

@ArtTank50 your position really shouldn't dictate your boot choice, it should be based on comfort, fit,materials, and the surfaces you play on. I don't really like the F50s, they are too concentrated on weight which is not important. Go to a soccer store, try on some shoes see which fits ur foot nicely, take into consideration how much maintence the boot will need as well. However, a few suggestions may be the adidas predator SL, the adipure SL, the Puma v1.11 K or SL. PM for more details

Both cleats are great. But everyone should understand, the cleat does not make the player. If your a fast player, you can run fast with Copa Mundials, its not going to make a difference.
