  • But her arms aren't very toned.. :/

  • Hi

I just want to let you know that your video are great , you are right to the point without any extra non sense, I will keep all your video and do them , I can not believe I use to pay so much to learn the same things.

    Tank you great job

  • how many repetitions?

  • i do the exercise by standing. how does sitting or standing or bending make a difference? which wud be best....

  • can someone bitchslap her for me please? kthxbye

oh, and ladies, lift some heavy weight for crying out loud.

  • If you were worrying that lifting more than 10lbs will give you big muscles too fast ladies I could only wish. I use the bloody 50lb DBs about 2X a week and I didn't accidentally grow too fast!...or at all :(

  • Charlatans like this and Tracy Anderson are the reason that women struggle to get in shape. There is so much mindbogglingly illogical misinformation out there.

If lifting moderately heavy weights makes you 'bulky', make sure you get someone else to carry your groceries for you. Wouldn't want to turn into Lou Ferrigno...

  • by her reasoning I can use my remote control to get "toned" *facepalm*

  • Like mentioned, this is crap info that further misleads people.

"Toning and firming" is a result of losing body fat so you can see the muscle. This wussy crap with 3 lbs, and the awful angles with DB's will do nothing for people looking to get "toned". Please stop now and either learn useful info or stop doing your "job"

  • Kid there is no such thing as "toning" or "shaping", only stronger or weaker, developed muscles or the holocaust-look, skinny or fat.

  • It is ignorance like this that disgusts me. As a CSCS, I can absolutely affirm that you will achieve nothing by doing these exercises. There is no such thing as "firming" or "toning." The trainer that did this video should be ashamed of producing such drivel. Plus, heavy weights won't "bulk" a woman's muscles. It's physiologically impossible to gain any significant degree of hypertrophy, so don't like to people and make them do pointless exercises.

  • What's a CSCS?

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Often considered one of the most difficult to obtain, and better certifications for anyone you could lump into the catagory of "trainer," although many holders of the CSCS certification are often found as strength coaches for athletes.

  • A CSCS is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Basically someone who knows what they are talking about.

  • nice! thx! ^^

But she seems like she's in like a mega hurry. O_o

  • I have a minor slip disc problem. Can i do this without weights coz weights make my back hurt even light ones.

  • i do the same thing for tricep but with heavier weights

  • depends on your fitness level start low and up de weight a little bit each time when you think you can handle bigger weights. also depends if you want mass or just tone the muscle.

  • Can't tone a muscle... just lose fat

  • these exercies are for men or girls..i just asking coz it's not too hevy that weiths

  • toning - for girls..

"pilates exercises" are for those who fear mass build up... so mainly, girls

  • OR... simply type "the myth of toning" into google.

  • I'm just saying that I don't think many people will build muscle with so called toning techniques.

    htm

  • ...dude,building muscle on "purpose" is actually a good thing. and toning means losing fat,but gaining muscle instead. and yes,the weights are pretty light but i think this vid is mainly for beginners
