can you teach me how do do natural with my african strong hair, what are the product to make it curl and how to do it pls i will be so grateful to know how to make it
@KidDebbieIsReady If you visit KISS (k-i-s-sDOTbiz) you'll find plenty of people who have grown relaxed or texlaxed hair to longer lengths. I think if your natural hair is altered in any way (chemical straigtening, hair color, using heat) then it's possible to have damaged hair. For this reason the hair needs a little extra care as far as moisture, and deep treatments. For me, I just decided to go natural because I was relaxed for so long and figured "why not?"
I have been natural for 8 months...YEA!!! and I have totally stop using all gels...and my hair is not dry at all...I was experiencing a lot of dryness...Not anymore
@EddieUnooTV I was watching a vid by BuildableBeauty and she pointed out that a shampoo that contains sulfates can actually make dandruff worse. I took her advice and grabbed the Tea Tree shampoo by Giovanni. It worked for me better than the head and shoulders. Still, I use henna and amla powders to help keep my scalp under control too. Thanks for the question :)
Hey, i'd like to know what type of hair you have. Mine seems to be similar to yours and i'd like to know what regimens and products to do and use. So lol hopefully I can have more healthy growth. Thanks in advance.
@NekoAnjiru Hi...Thanks for checking out my video. My current hair regimen is listed on my youtube channel page. My hair type is 4a/4b I think. The front is extremely loose so I'm not too sure what that is...lol :). I pretty much stick to the same products and try new things here and there. Send me a personal msg if you still have ??'s
@jhayilee A prepoo is when you apply something to your hair before washing it with shampoo. You can use natural oils or conditioner or both. Sometimes shampoo can feel like it's stripping too much out your hair so this is a way to keep some of the moisture that our hair needs. I appreciate the question...Thanks for watching! :)
@QuickDodgeTheBullets I guess it was originally but now they have a whole line of hair products...for people..lol :D. It's inexpensive and gives good results.
8 months so far and I really needed to watch a review on Mane and Tail. Im hesitant because it has not so good things in it. Well what I've read. I can't use sulfates and cones. i use black soap or Dr. Bronners castile soap. Since I can't afford Megatek I'm hearing that this is somewhat similar for a cheap price.
I only use the Original Formula Mane n Tail Conditioner because it doesn't have any cones. Some of the others in the product line do. It does have parabens though. Some of the good ingredients include: Coconut oil, glycerin, Hydrolyzed protein, Lanolin. When I want something more natural, I like Aubrey Organics' Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner. Its about $8 at my local health food store. hth Good luck with your journey!
thank you I need all the luck I can get. Winter was not terrible but it was rough especially doing my BC in the fall lmao so you know I'm excited about the summer coming around. I want to wear my TWA out getting tired of lf's and wigs add on twists. Thanks for the tip on the conditioner. Have you tried the shampoo I want to try but hesitant about sulfates.
I haven't checked out the shampoo yet. My hair does not like sulfates. When I shampoo I just get tangles and that squeaky clean. I've been co-washing and making shampoo with Dr. Bronner's Castille Soap. It's still winter here (snow again tomorrow) so I have to be careful with which products I use. Right now I'm doing another set of mini braids with shea butter for moisture.
congrats! Transitioning myself! On my third month! Now my hubby wants to grow his hair too...I can't handle two heads..LOL When his hair was long I had to do it!
products at a time ,because if the hair starts to grows or look good ,u won't know whice one worked to keep useing
and some won't mix with others ,your hair
will start to break or come out . my hair
started to grow ,from MTG ,& S-curl moisturizer , I got on the castor like people was saying for my sides to help more ,well it took out what I had grow in ,I
was shock & and mad at my self ,because everything don't work for all
your hair down ,the thicker your hair ,the less if it comes out people or you will notice ,soften your hair down will over time look thin ,that when u start to see bald spots ,As u get older the hair get thin
and doesing grow as fast ,i don't care what products u use.I know .the older u get things change in the body and we have to take medications and some take hair out .mines was down my back & now
You're absolutely right. I like to use eco styler to slick my hair back for ponytails. Otherwise, I try to stay away from using too much gel now. It is better with oil though.
Yeah... but Suave contains A LOT of alcohol in it... which can cause your hair to dry out. I had to get my hair CUT because I was using Suave products. If you have damaged hair, it is probably not the best shampoo or conditioner to use. I am now using Mizani hair products.
Suave ,I find is a cheat brand of products to use on your hair ,you don't have to use a high price brand of anything ,it's what
in these products .and how we take care
of the hair .some people hair isn't going to grow to their "A" because they never had long hair .but we have to try keeping hair in good condition so we won't lose
Hi there!! Nice vid. I just wanted to tell you if you have a TJ Max or Marshall's nearby they sell the huge Giovanni products like triple the size for 12.99. I load up evey time I go. Good luck on your hair journey!!
Good question. I'm constantly trying new things. In this video I used Mane n Tail conditioner as a leave-in, Aloe Vera Gel and Coconut oil. It seemed to stay a little more stretched and the next day it was really soft. Today, I'm trying out Kinky Kurly Queen's method where she uses Suave Coconut Conditioner with IC Fantasia Gel on Top. **Both times my hair was really wet when I applied the products.** hth. Thanks for watching:)

your hair down ,the thicker your hair ,the less if it comes out people or you will notice ,soften your hair down will over time look thin ,that when u start to see bald spots ,As u get older the hair get thin
and doesing grow as fast ,i don't care what products u use.I know .the older u get things change in the body and we have to take medications and some take hair out .mines was down my back & now
just to my neck & thin as hell ,no one told

hair gel dried your hair out because it has
alcohol in and will dry your hair onless
you use some oil with it , gel will also break your hair

then message it in so it all will mix even

Yeah... but Suave contains A LOT of alcohol in it... which can cause your hair to dry out. I had to get my hair CUT because I was using Suave products. If you have damaged hair, it is probably not the best shampoo or conditioner to use. I am now using Mizani hair products.

in these products .and how we take care
of the hair .some people hair isn't going to grow to their "A" because they never had long hair .but we have to try keeping hair in good condition so we won't lose
what we have ,that the key and if it grows
in that process then that good ,some hair
can't take heavy products ,and some oils
are heavy on hair .seach product
