I was too young to go to the Seattle Fair. We went many times to the Seattle Center after it opened in 1964. Used to go up the bubblelator in the Food Circus.
We all agreed the Fair was the best thing Seattle ever did. Put the city on the map, gave it the Space Needle, the Seattle Center and the Pacific Science Center. Plus it made a profit- take that New York!
