best exhaust, and i have tried all from evo2 to skunk2 hks, etc and this is the only exhaust that you can tell the difference in performance and it makes a nice tune at a stand still idle. almost all the other exhaust are quiet durring idle. I got a borla on my 350z and a borla exhaust on my wifes lexus and they are the best and nothing else can compare

i idle my car for about 7-15 minutes until i rev it, my max rev is about 4.5k and my standard rev is about 2.5k to 3.3k i also put in a slightly thicker oil and engine restore to seal up the cylinder walls good. also put in new spark plugs, i should have nothing to worry about right? the engine i think does have 196k miles but older people were driving my car before i got it. i dont red line it and i dont wish to,

idling your car is not necessary, just drive it normally and it will be fine. idling to warm your car up is a myth, just like oil and 3k miles...most oils can go 6-9k and still be clean

Normally your right. There is no need to warm up a car when its cold before you drive it. (although a minute wont hurt). BUT, if you are goin to rev it hard, you MUST warm up the engine before you do it. If you dont, it is hard on the engine and you could blow a pistin ring or something else. In loudest car contests they ALWAYS warm it up first as to not ruin the engine once they do the rev.

i have a 93 mercury sable. i did alot of work to it. ill hopefully post a video soon. im replacing the brake lines and im doing some body work. its a 4 speed auto with overdrive. I did alot of weight reduction, engine restoration and put a ram intake and a high flow axle back exhaust. i have taurus SHO rims but im going to wait till the summer to put the performance tires on them. as of now i have crappy wheels on it. but im not driving it as of right now, but i will soon

I think that is a big car, but it does have a V6 with 3.8 litres in it though. 140 HP with 215 ft. torque. Or do you have the V6 with a 3.0?

I think using the recommended weight is better. 10W-30, but go with High Milages one. I've been using Valvoline, but Synthetic though.

i have the 3.0 v6 and that too has 140 HP. im not sure of how much torque it has. ill probably put the normal oil in again over the summer. i changed the oil this previous summer and all i have been is idle'ing it and rev'ing it since. it is garage kept also. so i will put the normal weight in again. my main goal was to seal up the walls alittle better. and i use valvoline too. i cant remember if it was synthetic or natural. i think it was natural. and its 4600lbs. and still pulls like a beast

The engine stock comes with 145 WHP and with the mods i did i probably got about 152 - 154 HP out now.. the car is a 93 mercury sable. i took the seats out, put a new ram intake , cleaned the plenum/ throttle body, cleaned intake ports
