@1972jeepcommando; if you're using an IDE/PATA hard drive and enclosure, you should make sure that the jumpers are set for the "master" drive position.
@ChojinLove The enclosure shown here is a Sumvision one which accepts SATA internal hard drives and converts them into an external hard drive with USB 2.0 and eSATA ("external SATA") interfaces.
However, most enclosures work in a broadly similar way.
If you want to use an IDE hard drive, you'll have to buy an enclosure designed for IDE drives.
Most enclosures include a USB 2.0 interface, but not all of them include eSATA.
If you turn on itunes then the video is great!!
p.s. did you have to move the jumper on the hard drive?

hi im not really good with comps so i have a few questions.
what kind of enclosure is this?
and if i just put in my ide hard drive and it will work?
