@luann29 Tanks for being my first response to my first comment on YouTube. This stuff takes so much time but Ray Davies (God bless the Kinks) has brought me decades of pleasure! (I purchased "You Really Got Me" upon first hearing in 1964.) If you are a Harvey Keitel fan, please see FINDING GACELAND, in which he plays Elvis, . .
Please someone call the Prime Minister have the Queen or Will & Kate knight this guy and also Jeff Beck. Maybe the English can civilize us all one more time, it's getting late you know, Lennon's gone so do something about it.
Why don't real geniuses like this get knighted? At least the Nobel Prize. His body of work represents the best of the English spirit. A wonder to behold. Sends your emotions soaring.
does anyone know of when he will play again at glastonbury, ive been working on my house for months to sell it so i can move to hawaii BUT (along the way from vermont, lol) im going to england for a couple months and would love to see him perform live.(utube aint cuttin it lately) what a charge that will be. he is such a lovely man.

They've been around longer than the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. ;-)

@ROCKITRICK7769 The Beatles yeah, but definitely not the Stones.

@ROCKITRICK7769 No they haven't. Were formed in '64. The Beatles had already been going for 7 years before the Kinks got going.
