  • @cuckoonest7 a mexican ref

  • I was there! I was the only non honduran in the honduran section. Great night, only wished we would of won.

  • Damn that would have been sick if Rogers made that shot....that was crazy

  • I hate when people get mad over what you call the game...soccer, football its teh same thing...The British drive on the left side of the road..and guess what they are the only ones that do....no one is complaining about that

  • @IncredibleStan there not the only ones that do that...........

  • Hi, i am from Honduras...USA is the best team from Concacaf, it is hard to win in USA...I Hope USA and Honduras play the best futbol of ever in Sudafrica!

  • 3.08 what shot

  • typical sloppy us defense.. this is our undoing everytime

  • How does casey miss that shot and marvell wynne is sooooooo fast

  • the goalie guessed the first goal right during the penalties at least

US is so unlucky on their shots too

  • this was just a friendly, whats with the cards. just horrible!

  • Can we call it Association Football? Or Assoc Football? Or Assoc? Since that is where we get Socc-er. The first College "Football" game was a soccer game.

  • I am so disappointed in the performance of alot of players in that loss to Honduras. Cunningham, if that is all of the effort is willing to give us, stay at home. The chemistry in our second team is HORRIBLE. Get it together guys! FAST! The first team REALLY needs you guys to step up, or you can kiss the World Cup goodbye. Get better Duece!!!

  • lol why do the commentators insist on calling soccer football? I wanna puke every time I hear a fellow American call it football, in this country we call it soccer if you don't like it then move to europe.

This is one of the reasons why I root against the U.S every time they play, these pseudo(possibly paid) supporters ruin everything and are embarrassing.

  • If your job is predominately in Europe (not saying theirs is), you deal with a lot of European personalities, and it is part of your vernacular then it would seem second nature to call it football. It can benefit your career to be open to everyone.

Since America isn't the center of the world, maybe its good to just accept both sayings on an equal level and remember our way isn't always the right way... or maybe that there isn't even a right or wrong. It just is.

  • The worldcup will be full of the "football" word, so it'll get even more confusing for the commentators then, trying to keep it national.

If there's a sport i'd call football, it's this one, but that's another discussion.

  • Or maybe you can accept the fact that it's what Americans are use to calling it. However, being American, I can totally agree that it SHOULD be called football and that American football should be called Handball or Throwball. Also American's/America DOESNT think it's the center of the world, you think that we think that that's why it's like that. For as much as we do for the world we sure don't get a lot of credit.

  • i just hate people who care whether its football futbol calcio or soccer it shouldn't matter what you call it

  • @Chitownboy1023 Dude did u every think the commentator wants to call it as it should? yes its soccer here in the states but everywhere else, and i do mean EVERYWHERE else, they call it football. It should be called football normally and just change the American Football name into something else. And honestly its a rare thing when supporters are paid off. They're fans so leave them be

  • Second Goal for Honduras was picturesque.

  • We had our chances but just didnt take all of them!!!

  • ¡¡HONDURAS!!

  • the ball movements of hondruras forwards are amazing!! i wish the US can do the same..the US style is kinda predictable

  • yea whoever that back was....he did not play up to par..letting the offense blow right past 'em. But for a lot of guys this was their first cap so I think they got the jitters out of them and want to prove themselves against El Salvador

  • well, that wasn't pretty. noticed Hon. kept getting past our left Def. what's up with that? And our big bald striker better learn to finish. He's been put there for a reason, and it's to break through those 6ft+ European defenders.

  • that was our right def. they kept smoking. clearly marvelle wynne isn't up for national team duty, which is a damn shame cuz he's a freakish athlete.

and with any luck BB won't start big baldy up top this summer. crying shame what happened to charlie davies.

  • davies is coming back...idk if you heard but hes about to start training with his club again. hes like made of iron or somthing

  • Where are all the regular starters?

  • Most of them either play for or are on loan to European teams, where the soccer season is still in progress. The majority of players in this game are in MLS, who have an off-season during the winter.
