@DJGrenola Nice. Good catch. The first beat is from "My Mic Sounds Nice" by Salt 'N' Pepa but it has a synth line layered over it. I don't know if it's from some obscure remix or if Dragon did it. Chuck Treece is McRad though, I don't think Steadham has anything to do with him but I could be wrong.
Thanks for uploading this! I have the original tape but my VCR died, haha.
You're pretty much right about the music... all of it was commissioned by Powell (probably under Stacy himself), I know Skatemaster Tate did Per Welinder's song and a few others, and Steve Stedham did some stuff ("My Ship's Under Water"-McGill and Cab's part). You can actually contact Stedham, he still makes music under the name McRad. Very accessible on MySpace, good guy too.
Ohhh... over editing a B+B trademark. thank god $ Shackle me not, rubbish heap and dare i say Blockhead vid... we'd all be skating to Bee gees otherwise. Not that that would be bad!
Ahh, Ban This!, nice memories, great video, incredible skaters, i still remember the decks that we ride: vallely, caballero, mc gill, hosoi, frankie hill (insane), double vision, the ollie impossible was the new trick to learn (an your knees skin was gone trying that trick) ^^
"Wanna say etnies" you might be thinking of piere Andre. i saw a recent pic of welinder riding a freestyle deck from Reverse freestyle. so i guess he still freestyles
actually, new stuff is NEVER being done in any kind of skate. wow. this time bob kickfliped the 9 set INSTEAD of ollieing it. Street isnt evolving, freestyle inst much either
Trick, there would BE no "Modern Street" skating if it weren't for Mullen, he invented the flat-ground ollie you fuckin twit. Anyways, there is no "Modern Street" skating. Why? Because it's constantly evolving because of the new calibur of skaters coming out every day. Pick up a skate mag or go to your local 7-stair some time. You see new shit every day that you've probably never seen before. Why? Because nothing is "modern" anymore. ass.
Where do you think ---ALL--- of todays flip tricks came from you tool. Mullen is the creator of nearly all of them, not to mention he is also repsonsible for the thin double tail style deck that is used today. Learn your history young one learn your history!!!
I want to see Guerero's part soooooo bad now, but I can't find it! I used to have Ban This! when I was about 12 but lost it lending it out to someone. I'm bummed I don't have it anymore.
@djsazquatch
I think there's a couple of samples of The Smiths or Morrissey song on the guitars

when hariss is skatin, adn the explosion goes off, and he does that oldschool kickflip then like 546543645 pivots thats sickkkkk
people dont realize that freestyle skatboarding is the most difficult to perform and master. to be able to flow like that, its incredible.
