    Safe doesn't exist, there are merely levels of risk. I agree, toggle clamps might lower the risk, but I feel comfortable holding the stock myself, as I do when I use a cross-cut sled or a miter square. In other words, this jig is not "very dangerous" as you said. It is merely that the you perceive it to have a level of risk higher than you feel comfortable w/. I respect your concern for your own safety, but I'll let my own experience inform me of what I think is dangerous.

  • @deezynar i speak with a little experience on this kind of matter when 6 years ago i almost lost 2 fingers after an accident which needed 12 hours surgery to repair , so all i can say is be very carefull !!!!

  • Seems like a no brainer.
