@oNeHanDGuN it honestly depends on how much money you want to spend. Cost of living is MUCH lower in Hamilton. Wellington is the nicest area, and quite compact so you don't have to worry too much about transport whereas Auckland you best have $ and own a car because its a big place and expensive to boot.

Windy, on a fault line and not as great as Auckland. Hamilton has no Beach and if you go to either Auckland or Hamilton, you can easily travel between the two. 100km at least between each other. Plus i live in Auckland

Wellington is a cool city, and if you know where to go, as I do, it has some really nice hot spots, awesome scenery, and full of culture.

You do have to use your brain to find what your looking for thou.

If beaches are your thing but not the wind, then you will descover that it has East South and West side coastal beaches, chances are one side will be sheltered out of the wind.

I still rank Wellington the best NZ city.
