  • bob drunk? :-)

  • yaahh mon!!

  • one love, to all. This is the time for peace, and Bob intended. Just close your eyes and imagine you are in the middle of a tropical forest, listening to this song.

  • If Aston Barret was around with his bass.

If Carlton Barret was around with his amazing drum beats

If Tyron Dawnie was around with his roaring keyboard

They would have turned this song into a hit !

  • this tune has been one of many bob songs that got me through the day...one love

  • Rebelman, you did a great job with uploading those old songs. Did you upload the whole JAD Demos?

    Really good job

  • is this really Bob Marley? who is Eleanor Rigby?

  • Yeah, it's Bob - it's a demo tape. And 'Eleanor Rigby' is a famous song by the Beatles from about 1966.

Bob and the other Wailers were Beatles fans and that song particularly struck a chord with him because of its lyrics (See Timotjy White's Marley biography "Catch a Fire: The Life of Bob Marley" for more info on it.) It's a great tune; as to why exactly Bob would've given this tape after that song, I'm not sure. It might simply have been because he liked the song.

    Respect from Seattle

  • @NuNegus thanks

  • Bob markey, is such an insoiration in this lifet ime...He likes to improvise and experiment different tone of voice to feel JAH wherever and whenever possible. This is human being very passionate about Reggae music. I am proude to be part of this trend...inspire and get inspire.

  • @Wallaaii make no mistake this is not a trend.

  • Nice upload rebel. Its different and I like different. Great pic of Bob with Baby dreads.

Reggae music is king, long live the music of Bob, Barrington Levy, Jacob Miller, U-Roy and Black Uhuru.
