Mr. Buddyfun, The state is not the solution for high paying jobs. Look at our current state deficit as proof of that. The only long term solution for bringing back good paying jobs is to bring back industry and entrepreneurship. The whole country is going to have to unite to make that happen.
Kopachuck's operating budget is very low. Not even sure you would get much of a increase in salary at all. The over 65,000 employess of the state would have to divide that up. The increase would probably be so low it might be in the cents. With the closure, you can a extra can of campells soup each year for the park. Then the park is gone, forever.
