Guys i just found a really good way to get soul gem.

Step 1: Go to Dawnstar.

Step 2: Find the invisible chest between the rocks (beside the cave/dungeon)

Step 3: Open the invisible chest and get all the soul gem.

Step 4: Go to fast travel to Whiterun.

Step 5: Fast travel back to Dawnstar.

Step 6: Talk to the khajit sitting inside the tent (the tent is in your left once you've traveled to Dawnstar)

Step 7: Click on the khajits name and scroll down.

Step 8: Go back to the invisible chest.

@MrPerson54645 Azura's Star... it's an infinite grand soul gem, when you use it, it doesn't destroy, but you need to fill it everytime you wanna use it. It's pretty useful. :3

It's a daedric quest, to do it you need to visit Azura's Shrine, which is near Winterhold. You can watch some videos on YouTube. :3

You know you can just walk up to it and hit 'A' to mine right? You don't actually need to keep hitting it with a pickaxe.

@electrogypsy1234 Doing allot of quests. Open most chests, Urns, and search corpses and take their gold. It adds up before you know it!

there is a guy in winterhold, he is in the frozen hearth, and hes a dark elf. he sells lots of gems, so if you have money its perfect

You can also try the dwarven ruins, the machines have lots of soul gems, from petty-greater. Thats where I restock

mate.... you dont need to have the pickaxe equipped, just press the use button on the vein and it will auto mine using a pickaxe in your inventory.
