I have a XTM mammoth and they are freakin tough , mine landed upsidown on a metre high ramp with the shell off and it still worked perfectly

and it was a high speed

when you in mid air after taking of from a jump does the nose dip if you blip the throttle or does it rise

Actually if you hit the break it will make the nose drop. If you nail the throttle it will make the rear of the truck drop.

i have piece of advice for you, dont land while on the throttle. your going to strip your gears like crazy, at least your front and rear diffs. if that happens its going to be costly to fix. although i would recommened getting shims for the diffs so the gears mesh better and there will be less likely hood of that happeneing. you can tell if it has if you hear a clicking noise comming from the truck while accel.

my brother also has the same clicking noise in his car... but we have yet to figure what it is.....try changing out the gears in your diff and then go from there. its an easy and costly fix......

i found what that clicking noise is!! is the pinion gear and the ring gear of the diff. if you shim them both it will probably go away. Also i put a center diff. The best way to go!!!!

by the way with a center diff it's VEERRYYYY difficult to destroy the diffs
