nano DIY recirculating skimmer

i thought if u have to much air going through the pump it will over heat??? cause its just spinning air bubbles please help trying to make my own and my pump keeps cutting out if i have way to many airbubbles going through it

how many L/H is your pump???

@TranJamie100  The pump is about 1000L/H, There is not so much air that it hinders the pumps performance

your skimmer pushes a lot of air out of it and into the water. try a micro sock or a sponge around or on the return.

nice man i have a 55 gal but notins in the tank yet becuse the lightng is good so im selling it on crigslist so i can buy hidlights and some but so ill get them but grate vids

dude this is aweosome you know i liked your vids from the start but this is sweet starting a 50 gal what a fun experience im planning when i get more cash to do the same thing you dude with the refugium thank you so much i realy like that i dea maybe you could put more discriptive information because im still a little lost

I did have a 50 gal tank, but just before I built the stand for it, I decided to go with a 29 for size constraints of my cell (room)
