I agree with @unnamedcs madami pa magaling na guitarist sa pilipinas, jack rufo(neocolors), mike elgar, francis reyes, juven pelingon(rocksteddy), darius semana(parokya ni edgar), and many unsigned bands/musicians out there

-jack rufo was the guitarist of neocolors, now if we based our comparisons with that band? they might say jack is a crappy guitarist? now try searching his name on youtube, i never believed until i heard him play, haha!

yup! manuel legarda is a really good, maybe one of the best in our country, pero wag naman i-single out si ira cruz? ira is one of the better guitarist today, if you're going to compare bamboo(band) to wolfgang? you're nuts?! different genre?! but when it comes to technique, i don't think na iwan naman si ira cruz dun, iba kasi ung metal songs compared to pop-rock( as in popular rock songs ah? )

Yong bagong bandang FRANCO, 3 ang guitarists pero walang shredding, wala ring complicated riffs. Overkill ang 3 guitarists... Manuel Legarda can do it alone! I hope this guy teaches today's band how to do real riffs and shreds!

bluesy din siya, kaya lang di masyadong nahahalata kapag mabibilis na, kasi hilig nya pentatonic scale. pancn ko lng h.. at marami xang alam na style, ex. egyptian notes (tama b?) pasok naman sa tugtog.. tska may signiture tlga xa, na kahit pakinggan mo alam mong xa.. peace, ciao!

I've seen a lot of guitar heroes from the 70"s Pinoy music scene, but this is one guy from today who is hands down on top. I like his riff rendition of Message in a Bottle and Come Together. Isa lang ang masasabi kong expletive "ANIMAL GUMITARA!!!"

Anong gamit ya mostly pentatonic or harmonic scales? ok yun templa ng lead ya nasa tono.. and also he is one of my favorite gitarista sa pinas si mauel legarda ng wolfgang. Mga tol subukan nyo yun ERUPTION ni eddie van halen power talaga.. it tooks me 1 week bago ko nakuha yun templa o tono sa electric gitara. cool!
