Music industry made a decision. Continue to spend rediculous amounts of money on a 3-5 member band or pay a 1-2 artists that have a backup band paid peanuts, or even a DJ, and make that much more money. Make records quickly with the pop, rap, poop DJ or wait months for some drugged out band to get their shit together and finally make an album after tons of in fighting. Look at what happened to GNR and it represents a lot of what happened to tons of bands over time. They fight and break up...
