the non-counter hit of that move animation is different..

Well I think Asuka is not overpowered like Lili and Bob. Don't get me wrong, I also nearly ter the controller apart some times... xD

Asuka isn't exactly an high tier class character. Although you can pull off great damage off of Asuka's combos, what Asuka lacks is mid hits and pokes. Asuka has too many High to Low connecting moves, so if you were to challenge a player with experience you would have a rather difficult trying to get some pokes out. On the bright side I think her launchers have low frames? (I'm not sure, since I'm not an Asuka user). B3 is also one of her good moves although it has some frames.

Even Asuka isn't a high tier character, her moves are easy to execute as well as chaining combos. She's some what balanced in attacks and has a great variety of launchers. Her counter is useful when you're dying.

Not to mention B 4 doesn't have the 2 on the end, and that 2 1 1+2 also doesn't exist and various other problems.

For tekken 5, you're best using some combination of 1+4 (3) or 1 2 4 after a launch.

The uf+3 won't give you anything in T5 either, even on CH =(

Also the uf+4 launch won't really get you much of a combo in tekken 5.

ALTHOUGH you can follow up uf+4 with f 1+2 or b 2 1 3.

Or, for a not guaranteed (but fun) combo for T5

f+2, b 2 1 3, f 1+2

Some moves like the DB 4 3, the 3 follow up has not been added to Tekken 5:DR movelist yet.

plus the bounce system is not in tekken 5, so most of the combos can't be used in tekken 5
