  • At least they know Trower!! Good effort!! Come to PHX...

  • Good version

  • did you guys even listen to the record? the guitar and bass are all off

  • OMG the drummer eated a bassdrum!

  • Thanks for keeping this great tune alive!

  • Singing: Total lack of feeling and out of tune sometimes

  • is that Sal I playing on these trower tracks???? right on if it is till we see ya at NAMM again !

  • This was fine! The vocal is hard on this, especially with NO MONITORS and a CRANKED MARSHALL right in the poor singer's ear..

    Keep it up guys!

  • Not a back rendition.....give 'em a break! I like it.

  • Good except for the singing. sing the note for the proper duration/

  • Fuck that hurts. Quit playing the guitar please? Take up the Triangle maybe

  • the singer should be shot.

  • the guitar player needs to learn the right guitar part! (from a fellow professional)

  • Whoever says you guys don't sound good are complete idiots. You have Trower's tone and technique nailed! The record quality may be a little off from picking up those vibe tones but you guys are fantastic!

  • no feel.not rea.move along now,kiddies.

  • no feel.not rea.move along now,kiddies.

  • these guys are professional butchas

  • these guys should listen to robin trower more

  • and sing less, if ever.

  • thats singing!!!!!

  • The Drummer is on....

He hits the skins hard and is tuned great.

The guitar player hits it also but but with no tone. Don't use a fuz box. natural distortion and Phase.

  • Great cover!

  • Richard Gere: Guitar

    Dr. Andrew Weil: Drums

    Cuba Gooding Jr: Vocals

    ???: Bass

  • Hey the world is full of critics, and they're usually people that are jealous and can't play an instrument. So keep in jammin and keep this music alive. Most people have never heard of Robin Trower or Pat travers and other great guitar players, hell I grew up with it and still love it. This is back when musicians actually played an instrument not like today where a beat and someone rhyming the words is considered a musician.

  • And then there are those who can play an instrument and are able to discern between an artist and crap. This is crap.

  • This is really good.

  • james dewar should be spinning in his grave over these vocals. Laughable.

  • TO THE MAXX!

  • This is lame.......Trower doesnt like people that cop other guitarists...come up with your own version or write originals you posers....be original. What was that ? You cant come up with your own guitar sound?

  • dont be a smart ass

  • Dont be so defensive. You put it out there if you cant handle it then quit.

  • what the fuck is your problem.

  • tnibor, sounds like you are getting it together man, you guys did a great job on this difficult jam. Seems like everybody and his brother thinks he or they can play this, they can't. I will be looking in on your site, great work man.

  • thanks man!!!! Trower Power

  • Great job guys! One of my all-time favorite Trower songs.

  • fn kool bros

  • p.s....ya know with singer walking on and off...fog would have been really cool...

  • not bad...check out my work...search rkb by date added..keep rocking, actually i just listened with cans on and ya know...this rocks.....can't believe i used to have a robin trower scrapbook..lafffin

  • Not bad... I think you playing the riff a bit wrong. if you look at my video, titled blues. i show the correct way to play it...

  • This clip was from a open jam type night at a local club we dont really learn cover songs note for note we try to put an original feel on to a somg. As you may no, I cant wait much longer is a atmospheric and spacey song. trowers live version is somewhat more free. we tryed to capture a "live" version feel. The main rhythm riff is done in the higher position using mostly 2 string bars and using the closed notes for the bass Similar to what you are doing on your video.

  • : )))

  • This is great. I want to hear more from this band. Do they have a web site? I can't seem to find anything.

  • Hi There, Thanks for your interest. The band name is actually "twice removed from Yesterday" We do a tribute to Trower. We will be releasing a CD soon which will feature these great songs. Keep in touch.

Our web site is under construction.

  • Thanks! I'll look forward to it.

  • Hey Sal, do you have that CD or web site yet? If so, please drop me a line. Thanks! Also, check out my backing track version of Day of the Eagle I posted yesterday. Sloppy compared to you guys, but you inspired me to do something, at least! -John

  • Hey JT We are going studio on aug. 25th to start basic rhythm tracks for 6 songs.

we should be complete by mid september. We have a new bassist who is great. Harry our old bassist went on to play for megahertz(a metal band) we also have a great new singer Chris Yancik. James Dewar sound alike he is amazing and a trower freak like myself!!!

  • web site will be up by august 31 A dvd of us will also be available soon. I wish I had more time to do more. Yes checked out your vid of DOTE Cool!! sounds great. Keep working on your bends, vibratos, and phrasing. Trower's playing is very vocal and his voicing is actually similar to bb kings and Buddy guys. Thanks again for you interest!!!

  • Great guitar sound

    too much double bass

    Great Job!!!

  • What are you talking about? That's just a regular Fender P-bass.

  • Holy crap this is smokin'... NICE! Where are these guys based, anyone know?

  • Best tribute on You Tube.

  • i'll put it in my top 3 trower tribute bands! good vocals.

  • not bad at all, thumbs up to the all of ya,clear channel sucks bring back guitar gods

  • cooooooool! keep on rockin' lads!

  • Excellent copy. Guitar seemed to explore Trowers range quite well. Singer needs to sing from the heart and project Dewar's range of pain. Its not rock - its BLUES. First saw Trower in Chicago in the mid-70s and they were like magic. You swore he was daring you to just try and follow his riffs. Drewer was in his own world while Lordan covered the biggest drum set I ever saw.

  • As a long time Trower fan, I can say you guys did it justice! I play too so I know. Keep up the good work.

  • Very good job...Good show in proper use of a strat. Guitarist If you feel comfortable bending over, do it. Robin bends over his a lot. Need a better singer tho.

  • Whats wrong with the singer? I thought he was awesome.

  • Well he doesnt sing it with feeling like james Dewar, Its not like im saying he is bad, its just I have listened and sung this song so many times, I could have done a better job and Im not a great singer. Hes ok just lacks Dewar's feeling, like its happening to him feeling the blues of not being able to wait much longer for something he really wants or needs.

  • Good job...but the guitarist needs to stand up a little straighter. Wrong bass line in the chorus too.

  • Very nice job.

  • Nice tribute. I'm a "Trower-Head" since '75. It was great seeing him touring again this past summer. keep up the great work.
