  • I love the comedic music and Marlena's expressions LOL classic.

  • Ha I am watching this again and your comment "every time John is about to die" struck me as funny...I was laughing...he did "about die" a number of times didn't he. Ahh only in Soaps.

  • This declaration of love begs the question how the hell did they both forget they said they loved each other after it was over and they were back in Salem? I would have said "see ya Kristen"

  • Stefano's always got to have at least one shirtless man around, doesn't he?

  • The executioner is effing hilarious!!!!!!

  • @Em2357 so true hahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahahahhahahhaha

  • What do people with guillotines have against melons? Poor things are always been chopped in half in demonstration.

  • This is around Aug 96, I think secret room is April or May of 97, but not positive.

  • Haha, this is when I first started watching the show, so it brings back memories! I never understood why it took them another year to get together and WHY on earth John acted like he didn't know Marlena loved him. CRAZY!

  • Same here. I do know that John always felt guilty about the affair, and he did promise to move on so he wouldn't hurt their friendship, and to my knowledge that was the excuse for his hesitation. He thought she wanted to be friends and didn't want to risk losing her as a friend (which made NO sense to me after this either). Marlena's excuse was to protect John's baby. Also, made no sense because the worry still stressed Kristen out. But it's J&M, and eventually the do get together. :)

  • omg they both said it...so why the confusion afterwards? ugh

  • I think you're missing the key point here. They're John and Marlena. ;)

Remember the J&M creed. Never take the easy road when you can take the angsty emo one. Never live happily ever after when you can have a major crisis every six weeks instead. Never accomplish in one episode what you can reasonably spin out over seven years. It's what they do... ;)

  • God I love the music in the background :D

  • It makes everything seem so dramatic doesn't it.
