i love you man i've been scratching my hair out googling how to use footswitches with the pedal. was figuring out how to play it live with my band but you've really done a nice explanation!
@NicolasParent Whilst a loop is playing you can use the up/down button and the patch number will flash on the pedal. Click the pedal and the selected loop will start as soon as the currently playing entry finishes. Probably worth grabbing the RC3 manual from the Boss website as it has all kinds of clever features. After making the video I also discovered you can tap tempo on the left button, so tap along with a song you're playing, then when you start the loop it plays at the right speed.
