@manwitgun55 drop in a fat 50's in the neck, a CS 69 pup in the middle, then a ssl-5 ducan pickup in the bridge of your stratocaster. then... pop on a big muff or some other fuzz pedal... litttle echoe or chorus or something and you basicly have a general gilmour tone.

The reason this song sounds the way it does on the album is because Gilmour uses a flanger pedal; you can't imitate that with more bends and vibratos. Even though you didn't appear to use one, it sounded great. Kudos.

thats a real shame man. I have tried watching you in slow motion to copy but your fingers hide the true notes. I reckon even a semi correct version of a TAB would be good enough for us to at least get close to your version (which I think is near the best so far apart from the 1974 version and of course the original pulse version).

Go for it with the TAB. If you did it on a web page and keep readding to it when you can we can learn as you go :).
